Oakhill Academy

This is by far the best school you can bring your kids too. If you are looking for quality education, a place where everyone knows your child’s name, small classroom sizes and genuine LOVE for your child by staff....you HAVE to come Tour this school!!! You will not be disappointed. The principal, front desk and even the building supervisor know each and every child’s name. It is a family that has an educational program meeting the highest standards.

I am so thrilled I found oakhill when I did. We came from San Diego where they offer a G.A.T.E program. When we moved here my oldest son really struggled with a "regular" curriculum, he had gone from an A student who loved school (especially math) in a gifted class to a C student in a regular class (who now didn't want to do math ever again) because he was not being stimulated and when brought to the schools attention, pretty much said sorry but we can't help you. The following school year comes along and Oakhill enters our lives. My entire families lives have changed! Oakhill, its staff, the amazing S.T.E.A.M. curriculum and entire student body are amazing. Everyone knows one another by first name, in every grade. They encourage one another to be positive, giving, kind, members of society. They work together as a team to do things like come up with what they feel should be the schools rules. Its truly amazing to watch the minds of all of the young individuals come together. They are teaching our children to be what the rest of the world should aspire to be. I love that it is so well rounded, the class sizes are small and personal, they utilize technology but still emphasize the importance of things like, note taking, nice handwriting etc. They start teaching second language as a part of the curriculum in kindergarten and although they have three to choose from (Chinese, French, Spanish) they encourage families to keep children in the same language throughout their schooling carrier so that they may become fluent in the language they chose. They also have art, music, drama and physical education all built into the curriculum. As well as and an awesome before and after school program (my kids are always asking to stay) I love this school so much more every day, that after my second son was two months into his kinder year in the public school I pulled him out and put him here with his brother. Best decision I've made for my family since moving here. I promise you will not be disappointed in the education or community you will gain from bringing your family to oakhill.

The faculty is intelligent, caring, and engaged in the students' all-around wellbeing. The curriculum is STEAM based including specific studies in the arts, the sciences, and mathematics. These disciplines are also woven into daily lessons allowing students to make connections across lessons and fully master concepts. Several different foreign languages are offered and students begin these disciplines in TK. The school embodies its motto and teaches global awareness, leadership, and respect. I highly recommend this school.

Amazing

Best school in town. Thanks to all the wonderful teachers. Kids are challenged everyday and it shows in their performance.
