LJCDS is a terrific place to be a student and to be a parent of a student. We've had two kids there for 9 years and couldn't be happier. Fantastic community, really feels like an extended family. We've experienced warm, caring and inspiring teachers from K through 10th grade. Fantastic leadership starts with Head of School Krahn. Go hear one of his (free) Learning Lunches and you will be sold on LJCDS for your kid(s).

I have a child that has been at this school for 8 years and it has been a school that has bent over backwards to help, support and encourage my child to be everything he can be in all aspects of his life. They are an academic institution but also encourage students to think, speak their own views, be engaged in the world and see beyond themselves. That is why we chose and remain at LJCDS.

Once again pathetic results on the National Merit front. Only 1 student qualified compared to 13 from Bishop's.

Love the school. My son hated public school. He was bullied and picked on by various students. To clarify, my kid is tall, not easy to push around. He finally found a school which challenged him and encouraged him to ask questions. My son love to debate everything, here he got a chance to even question the teachers and support his ideas. He loves going to school now. He doesn't dread it like before. The culture is of respect and learning can I ask for anything more.
