We have had the pleasure of our kids attending here starting at three years old. Now they're in third and fifth grade! The teachers and entire staff are WONDERFUL people. The Pastors is a great guy who also has has young children of his own.

My daughter started preschool here and is now in the first grade at CTCA. This has been an excellent school for my daughter. The academics are wonderful, my daughter loves math and the computer class. She has a great relationship with all the teachers she has had. I like that there is music and computer class included in the curriculum. The class sizes are small. The teacher aides all do a great job watching and helping the children. A previous reviewer indicated that there was a high expectation for behavior and being responsible. I don't think the rules are unreasonable, they are what you would expect a school to have for safety and to be respectful of others. I highly recommend anyone looking for a private school to consider Christ the Cornerstone Academy and the preschool is also excellent there too.

My daughter attended this school from Kindergarten through the fifth grade. She received an excellent education in a loving, Christian environment. When she left to attend middle school, she was well ahead of her peers. The staff is very caring and works together to make sure that every child is successful. She still goes back to visit - now that speaks very highly of the school!

We started with our first child in preschool. He loved it and we loved it. The preschool teachers actually do things with the kids. They sing, teach them the alphabet, computer even! Soon after he went to the kindergarten and is currently in the 3rd grade. We moved to Rancho Bernardo and then to Escondido and although we never really considered moving him we did discuss it due to the distance. Our son literally begged us to keep him there and we felt it was worth the drive and gas to keep him there. We also have a child in the preschool now. She loves her teacher and loves to go to school everyday. Not so sure about the poor review below. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and certainly may have different experiences but the class sizes are very small and children get lots of attention from teachers. We have never experienced anything but positive vibes from our son and even from other parents we have met.

My son attended pre-school for two years and is now in Kindergarten at CTCA. The teachers and staff maintain a loving, caring and safe educational environment and you can truly see it with how the students interact with their teachers and how the students interact with each other. You can feel the happy education vibes as soon as you walk into the school. The small classroom sizes allows teachers to give each child individual attention. There was one review that did not talk very highly about the day school. My son has been attending this school for the last three years and I volunteer often. I have never experienced anything similar to what my fellow reviewer experienced. I do agree that teachers set expectations of their student but they are very much there to guide them to excel beyond those expectations. When my son excels at something that he once deemed impossible it gives him the confidence to keep going to keep trying more challenging things. I personally welcome the challenge and expect teachers to set certain expectations of not only their students but also the parents.
