My grandson attended this preschool. The ratios seemed high, children were often crying or in time out. The staff did not seem to be qualified or experienced. My grandson always cried when dropped off and the staff was not responsive. And the kids watched tv...

We Love this school!! Both my girls have attended Discovery Montessori and we have been thrilled with the Montessori foundation they recieved. Our oldest entered Discovery as a very shy 3 year old and emerged as a confident learner and was fully ready for Kindergarten at 6. We made the decision to give her a extra year of Discovery Montessori Preschool and send her to Kindergarten at 6 instead of 5 and we are so very thankful for this school and that decision. Our 4 year old is currently in her second year at discovery and we will also be giving her the gift of a 3rd year of Montessori before entering Kindergarten. Thank you Discovery for all that you do!

My 2.5 yr old daughter is doing very well going to this school. Horseback riding, bicycle days, art projects and the interaction with others play a huge part in her healthy development.

Perhaps the 8th pre-school that my kids have attended - and far and away the worst. Why? 1) Teacher attitudes... a combination of condescension and pettiness dealing with parents (not just me, others) 2) Teacher doctrinaire following of a hundred year-old and completely "made up" philosophy of education that sounds sensible at first encounter (follow the child), but when taken to conclusion - and pursued the way this school does is idiotic and harmful 3) Indifference to my child's emotional distress on one occasion. Unaware of it when I arrive, unable to explain it, and defensive as hell when I asked if they understood the reasons 4) Insanely petty when it comes to t-shirts for field trips, and lunches being just-so - no thought to parent convenience or lack thereof. Avoid like the plague (a view shared by at least one other family)
