I want to give high praise to this amazing daycare and school. Finding a childcare provider for my first and only child was a huge challenge for my family. In tours I never really felt comfortable anywhere except the Goddard sites. My last and favorite tour was the Goddard School in Newark. My daughter has been off and on there for about a year now and I have seen such a difference in her development compared to a trial run we did at a different poorly run "brand name" center. I understand that each Goddard is independently owned and franchised so my experience may have been different at another Goddard location. However, this center at Newark really has their act together. I have never seen a daycare so clean, organized and with such loving and genuinely caring teachers and staff. When I was having problems with a different daycare and made the switch due to financial reasons, Cindy welcomed my child back without hesitation or waiting and told us we were already family here. They are very good at working with familys lifestyle and budget. They are fantastic at communicating. I 100% feel that my child is safe and loved here. She is a thriving toddler and I want to give a huge thanks to Goddard School of Newark for help shape my daughter into a spunky fun and confident little girl. The best decision you can make is to trust these fabulous educators with your own child. -Steph G. Mom of a 2 year old and FT Nurse

Goddard is a surprise to say the least. When we started at a large daycare center we expected a much more impersonal environment. However, this wonderful school has a very well-developed curriculum and provides children with great learning opportunities, while at the same time providing the level of attention and care of an in-home daycare program. All of the teachers develop close bonds with the children, and as a parent you feel "part of the family." We've always felt that we can come to them with any question or concern, no matter how small, and it's always treated with the utmost importance.

Our family started at the Goddard in September 2013. Our oldest son started in Pre-K and continued through K. Our youngest son has made the progression through young toddler and is now starting Pre-K. Sending our children to school was no easy decision. They had been stay-at-home kids until we relocated to DE. Our search for a quality provider was extensive. The Goddard is amazing as it is truly a school and not just a daycare environment. The curriculum used is one of the best. The children learn through play based learning and have so much fun. From an early age they are taught to think through problems. But what really sets this Goddard apart from everyone else is the staff. Every single teacher that has worked with our children have been amazing. They quickly become cherished friends and advisors. They always take the time to answer questions and offer advice, and I trust them whole heartedly. At the beginning of the 2015 school year our oldest was aging up into first grade and public school. We decided to move our youngest to a school that was closer to home and our elementary school. We last two months. It was a horrible experience (poor classroom management, lacking parental communication, sterile, unloving/nurturing). I guess most places would seem horrible after being at a center that feels like home. The owner of the Goddard, Ms. Cindy, and all the teachers of the Goddard quickly make you feel like family and part of the team. It is clear that they are passionate about educating and caring for little ones. There is so much knowledge, love and talent at this Goddard. They truly care about each child and each family.
