I have two children at St. Petersburg Catholic High School. The school teachers, staff and administrators have gone above and beyond to make sure the kids are safe and happy. They have great options for academics, sports and extracurricular activities. The school family is welcoming and supportive. I would recommend St. Petersburg Catholic with 100% confidence!

Their mission statement seems to contradict many of their actions toward students. Hell, I don't even attend this school but from what I've seen and heard, send your kid to a public school. It's actually not that bad.

The Prayer to St. John Bosco. Saint John Bosco, you reached out to children whom no one cared for despite ridicule and insults. Help us to care less about the laughter of the world and care more about the joy of the Lord. This school does not honor this prayer or the mercy asked for therein. Because our child could not "keep up" with their program he was asked to leave. (in the 1st year no less.) They showed no mercy, they did not help to bring him up to speed academically. Our child passed their entrance exam. No remedial or catch up classes are offered. One teacher there cared more about after school athletics than after school tutoring. You (as parents) don't meet to discuss with teachers, they want to dictate to you and you are expected to listen without input. If you push your input they walk out of the meeting insulted. They are a Blue ribbon school, no one can repeat a failed grade because it would tarnish their appearance of perfection. I do Not recommend anyone subject their child to this institution.
