Take the leap, make the investment, you will not regret it. My son is two and was in Ms. Emilia's class. It was like leaving him with a trusted friend... and a trained educator. My son blossomed so much in her care. We are a bilingual household and his English vocabulary exploded while in her care. We only left because we moved out of the area. From the director to the support staff there is not a person there that I would not want to care for my child. The love and care provided to the kids is spectacular. I appreciate the detailed reports the most and I loved the ability to continue to sing songs or practice words that the reports let me know my child was learning. His face would light up in familiarity when we continued the lessons at home. That's big for a two year old learning to communicate his experiences about the world around him. I was so sad to leave and that there is not a Goddard school in my new community. We will miss the GS staff and are very grateful for the love, care and structure with which they operate. It is not the least expensive child care around but it is the highest quality and my husband and I saw it as an investment into our son's life and I certainly saw the return in his social development and budding communication skills. My only regret is that we couldn't take them with us when we left the area. Update: after reading some of the negative reviews, I wanted to add that I am a social worker who deals with cases of abuse and maltreatment of children for a living. I found TGS to have 100% accountability. On the few occasions my son came home with a mark or bruise, as toddlers do, there was an incident report and plausible explanation. As someone who investigates abuse for a living, I was able to rest easy knowing I completely trusted my child's caregivers. This was largely in part with the direct, open and nearly constant communication with Farah, a wonderful person and director. I'm sure I communicated more than most but even after hours emails were met with a response. Farah cares for her program and the kids as evidenced by the standard of excellence. That is my personal and professional assessment.

My daughter attended the Goddard school in Woodstock for 3 years--until we moved into the city. She received excellent care from the time she was 6 weeks old until her last day. What I loved most about this school is the level of attention she received from the staff. I know they loved her as one of their own. Excellent, loving teachers!!

I requested a tour for my almost 3 year old. We had just moved here and I didn't know if there would be a huge waiting list. I talked to the director via email a few times. The day of my scheduled visit, I arrived a few minutes early and the director was not there. I waited 15 minutes and still no director. So another very young lady gave me a tour. As she opened the door, it smelled of feces. I know children have accidents but i'm not sure why it was at the front door. So I continued on the tour. The young lady seemed to not know what she was talking about. Very confused about which rooms, etc. She then grabbed a handbook for me and wrote down all the pricing (as someone else told her because she didn't know). I looked it over when I got home and I was shocked at how much they think they can charge for what I feel is not worth it. This is not the place for my child. To add to this, the director NEVER emailed me to apologize or to see how I liked it. Instead I kept getting spam emails from them. Thought that was very sincere.

Do not enroll your child in this school. They charge you almost $10 a day for lunch in a lottery funded pre-K. The director is horrible and will treat you like scum. I have had to call the state on this school multiple times. The only good part of the school is the pre-K teachers and it's a shame they have to work for someone so rude. Go anywhere but here for pre-k

My son is 2.5 years old and has been attending The Goddard School in Woodstock since he was 3 months old. The school has been the perfect choice for our family. The school has a warm, friendly environment, and is always very clean. In addition, I feel the teachers and owner, Farah, genuinely care for my son's well-being and education. He has learned so much at the school so far, and I expect the growth and education to continue through Pre-K. I definitely recommend this school for parents seeking a place for their child to flourish.
