If I could give an even lower rating I would. My daughter attended this school 12 yrs ago. I thought putting her in a Christian school would be good for her. By her being one of the only black children in her class she was constantly bullied by the other students. My husband and I didn't know this was happening until recently when she broke down and told us. One thing I do recall is the faculty there. The teachers were very stand offish and I could feel the tension. My daughter said she told her teacher about what was happening and she did NOTHING! I am so glad my husband and I took her out of this school and put her into a public school where she was able to thrive. Now my daughter is in college and she is doing quite well. I would caution any parent sending their child to this school. Save that money for college because it is NOT WORTH IT!

Honestly from the bottom of my heart if you are a firm believer or just a parent who is trying to give your child the best by avoiding the public school system. Don't do it. You will regret it. I'm a Christian myself who has gone through 8 years of private school. Needless to say, I knew the ins and outs of this system, however, after registering our son here we were devastated. They do NOT embody Christian morals or the teachings of Chirst. They simply apply the full weight of a childs guilt right on top of them and will literally crush your child's confidence and ability to express themselves. Rules and and punishment (negative reinforcement) is their choice of teaching style. My son left school everyday (in his words) with an apple in his throat. They definatly display signs of prejudice and borline racism singling out students whose do not blend with their ideal views. Teachers, staff, and principal are all in alignment and no matter the issue will ensure the children are to blame.

I had a higher review at one point, but I am so appalled at the fact that students do not face actual consequences for their actions. I was punched multiple times for no apparent reason. I was punished for protecting myself. This certain student has bullied as well as fought students multiple times over the last 3 years, including this year. There has been no actual punishment besides a piece of paper. No suspension or expulsion. Overall, the academics are great up through 8th grade, and certain teachers are also wonderful. The sports are also pretty good. That is what is earning this review 3 stars. Also, I am a Christian, but it seems that in every aspect of their teaching, they try to brainwash the students into becoming the perfect Jesus Christ.

if people are saying the school is racist and unjust then fck this school. get over yourselves and cut the racist BS . I went to a racist school when i was younger and its not a good fckin feeling. Its not only the student but even the teachers and as children we dont understand why we're being treated unjustly. We just stand there confused. We expect the adult to be an actual adult and be fair and just to everyone. Children dont look at themselves and see race. When i speak about "black and white" to my toddler she looks at me like what the hell am i talking about? she says she brown lol. which is true u idiots. Racism is old. im mad just looking at the comment im sorry, I never been to the school but was considering it if I moved to Schaumburg. Not anymore I wouldnt take the chance. Racism can be traumatic or cause anxiety when around certain people, It has for me unfortunately.

This sucked. I had to leave because I didn't feel comfortable. Don't waste your time. They plague everything with religion. So I went to a public school and I'm one of the top in my class.
