Super stupid the worst place ever there the only summer camp that has a allergy table

Sounds cliche, but the school has 'really happy' kids. Experience tells me, that isn't easy to ensure that gifted kids are happy and challenged all the time. How they do it, beats me! Perhaps its is the proactive headmaster who cares for his students and addresses every possible need, or those loving teachers who place a huge premium on patience and kindness. Maybe the admin staff that works from behind the curtains to ensure every message, every act, every little gesture welcomes children to their classrooms, for I see no other reason why the kids go skipping to school every morning. We are both blessed and lucky to have found this gem called SAA, where everyone fits in and it truly is that involved village that raises your child.

After years of trying enrichment courses for our gifted child, we looked into Science & Arts Academy and couldn't be happier! SAA truly meets the needs of gifted students. From the differentiated curriculum, to the SEL, as well as the languages, technology, and extracurriculars, this school does it ALL! The teachers understand gifted children, and each child's need is met. SAA is professionally run by a top administration and the teachers and staff are the best around. We are relieved our child can continue his love of learning in a positive environment.

Small class sizes and they are experts at differentiation. Your child can be in grade level language arts and higher level math (or vice versa). This is done easily and, most importantly with age level peers! It's completely accepted to be smart, or artistic, or both! Both of my kids enjoy school and have an amazing learning environment.

Incredible, incredible, incredible school! One would be hard pressed to find a school of this quality anywhere in the country. I know that is a tall order but it is true. This is our second year at Science & Arts Academy. Our son started SAA in second grade. We enrolled him because he was testing 2-3 grades above grade-level, yet was losing his love of learning at his former school. After one year at SAA he is now testing 3-5 grades above grade-level and, more importantly, he absolutely loves every minute of school. Each day he is eager to learn. I attribute this to how the school approaches differentiation and provides a positive learning environment. All of his classes differentiate according to each student’s ability. Above grade-level learning does not mean children are pushed beyond their ability, but rather it means they are matched to their ability. Having a unique schedule designed just for our son has allowed him to work at the correct pace in each of his subjects. For example, he has language arts (first period - 5th grade level), French (second period - 3rd grade level), math (third period - 6th grade level), science (fourth period - 4th grade level), PE (fifth period - competitive and non-competitive levels), and so forth. In the SAA classrooms, you will find experiments, discussions, team projects, individual instruction, and motivated (and motivational) teachers. I have come to understand that academic success happens only if a positive learning environment is provided. At SAA, teachers, head of school, administration, and fellow parents are all there to help, support, teach, guide, and inspire your child. Our son witnesses this compassion everyday in every classroom. As a result, he is comfortable to be himself, strives to be his best, and knows that he is at a school full of support. We feel so fortunate to have found Science & Arts Academy. Our son is excelling and happier than he has ever been.
