The school is very good with the kids but prepare to be nickeled and dimed all day long. You want your kids to go on a field trip? That's extra. Turkey luncheon for Thanksgiving? Extra. School brings in a storyteller for the kids? You pay for it. This is on top of $10K in tuition. I would much rather they ask for an xtra $200 up front at the beginning of the year than be constantly asked for money again and again.

My son attends the Du Page Montessori in Wheaton. I went to several Montessori's before coming to Du Page Montessori. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew it was the right school for my son. The atmosphere is one of joy and community. The teachers are patient, kind, caring and passionate about teaching the children. The office staff is very accommodating, friendly and efficient. The growth we have seen not only in his academics but also socially has been amazing. My son is excited about school every day and loves to learn. I could not have picked a better school for him! I have recommended this school to many family and friends and would suggest you go see it.

A great school, where kids become themselves, where there is no pressure, where mistakes and errors are welcome, where confidence is at the core of everything they do. Where kids learn to listen, then lead and respect others.

Definitely one of the best private schools in the area. Our kids really enjoy the learning and atmosphere.
