If I could give the teachers a five I certainly would. This one star is for the director Jennifer. Horrendous leadership abilities coupled with a penchant for deceitful and manipulative practices. The owner who I never met in over 17 months refuses to get involved. One thing I'd recommend is to avoid conferences or one on one meetings. Truly a smokescreen with parents hoping for improvement while the director lies in person hoping it will all blow over. How the staff survives is truly beyond me. I appreciate the teachers efforts especially considering their lack of leadership. Not surprised with the extremely high staff turnover. Parents please ask pointed questions and measure sincerity. With the price you'll pay it will certainly be an investment of your time. Just a quick follow-up regarding the reply received from the owner. I gave you the perfect opportunity to respond to me in private regarding the behavior of your director but you chose not to respond to my email. It amazes me how saddened you are when a post becomes public knowledge and is inconvenient for your business. You may want to consider applying those same principles when issues are brought to your attention in a more private setting.

The teachers and staff here are great. They really care and you see the results of their investment. Both of our kids are prepped very well for grade school and felt loved along the way.

My husband and I could not be happier with the Goddard School in Cary. We had our son at a different daycare in the area, and while they looked after the children (in the most mediocre way), they made no effort to really teach anything or organize programs. I initially started there as it was a less expensive childcare. When it came closer to preschool along with some frustrations with the aforementioned daycare, I decided to look into Goddard and took a tour. From the minute I walked in I was stunned! The school is adorable with the bright colors, murals on the walls, cleanliness and an overall cheerful attitude. I was greeted by the Director and owner who were both incredibly friendly and warm. I could tell they truly love their jobs and are passionate about the school. Upon seeing the many classrooms filled with learning materials and age appropriate toys, as well as seeing the teachers in action, I was sold! I absolutely couldn't imagine a better place for my son. They even have a gymnasium for physical activities like yoga and dance party Fridays. While they do provide all day childcare, it is set up as a school. They have a schedule of activities and lessons everyday which gives a good routine for the children. Through all of the activities they do a fabulous job of making the children feel confident and loved. They also fully prepare children to start off grade school with all the tools they need and more. My son, in the preschool room is already light years ahead of other older children we know with knowledge and skills. Now my son has been at Goddard for a year and it was absolutely the right choice. He loves his teachers, he loves telling me about what he did everyday and he has made some friends! I too have made some friends with other parents and have gotten to know some of the faculty as the entire staff feels like family! Every staff member I have encountered has always been completely professional as well as warm and caring. I always recommend other parents at least take a tour to see the place for themselves. The school speaks for itself. It doesn't even compare to some daycares and I don't even call it daycare because it really is a school in a class all of its own!

My daughter love everything about this school. She absolutely loves her teachers and enjoys going to school everyday! She is learning so much, yoga, Spanish, soccer, and so much more. They develop well rounded children. We love being apart of the Goddard family. :)
