Students are nightmares; bullying. Northridge is advertised as a very friendly environment, but I felt more appreciated at a free public school in downtown Chicago. This is saying a lot. There is a different type of bullying. Verbal, but also psychological. When I was in a different, higher rated and harder private school, I was getting better grades. It took me a while to find out that this was because of the kids who were saying very mean things on a new level. They were saying I was completely useless in life because I didnt know how to play sports, an because I was really bad at them and because I was overweight. This actually brought me to suicidal thoughts. This shouldn't happen at a "catholic" 😒 School. The kids were the reason for my almost failing in 2 classes, because I thought I was useless, and I only wanted to practice and become better at basketball. Even though I am an extremely talented musician, and barely recognized. Some of the teachers come to work just to receive a paycheck. They aren't rarely available before or after school for help, and they just graduated from college, and have no experience, or 80-year old lunatics. Northridge was a lot different 10 years ago. Especially since 3 brothers all graduated from Northridge, and the 4th is going to St. Ignatius for high school. This says something.
