The School has had some serious financial problems. It just recently raised tuition significantly. The school chased off all of the business people who were trying to help them in the past. These were some smart people who ended up leaving the school. That fact scares me. The School is lacking in resources, teachers, computers, and many of the basics you would expect from a school. If you are looking for college prep this school should not be considered. If you are looking for an experienced guidance counselor that will work with you and your child this is not the place for you.

This is a school blessed by God. It is a place where my children have grown in their Christian faith. The teachers make themselves available for help. There are a lot people working together to make this school as faithful as possible. From basic courses, to the arts, music, and sports, Aurora Christian Schools are one place for all grades and all for Him!

Strong Spiritual Emphasis and Excellent Educational Outcomes (my son) Where do I begin? My son plays football at ACS. "The Spirit of Gideon" was the theme of their 8th grade season. Every practice, every game was committed to growing as football players and growing in their spiritual understanding. This was a daily thing. It was woven so tightly into the football program that it could not be separated from it. They wear "Christian" on the front of their uniforms and take it to heart. The football program is nothing if it does not reflect the glory of Christ in all they do. Where else can I send my son to school and provide him with this kind of a daily, Christ-centered experience? The academic curriculum is strong. I appreciate subjects being taught with a Biblical worldview, classes beginning with prayer and a soul-nurturing environment. Teachers are not there because of the pay. Teachers are there because they are committed to teaching in a Christian environment with the freedom to teach from a Biblical worldview. My wife and I are partners with Aurora Christian. What we teach in our home and what our kids learn at church are supported by the ACS staff 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 9 months per year. Contrast that with a public school environment in which our Christian values are subtly (and sometimes overtly) under attack by a secular agenda. Our children spend more of their waking hours at school than anywhere else. I cannot put a price on the environment my children are in a majority of their day. Thank you Aurora Christian School. Strong Spiritual Emphasis and Excellent Educational Outcomes (my daughter) No other school in the area can prepare my daughter for her future the way ACS can. She wants to pursue Christian entertainment and be worship leader of a church. She has Chapel Band as a class at ACS. She's on stage with a full band rehearsing almost every day preparing for Chapel day. Her Chapel Band teacher is teaching her about Worship (not performance) and the role of glorifying God through music. Her Bible class is rigorous, challenging and enjoyable. My daughter came to me last week to show me how much she was enjoying her current writing project which described the sin condition and progression of sin, written from a personal application perspective. This kind of education supports and reinforces what she learns at home and at church. Aurora Christian School is a partner in helping my wife and I train up Christian children that will be able to reach spiritual maturity and enter the marketplace prepared to defend the faith, advance the Gospel and reflect the glory of Christ in this dark world. Both of my children are high honor students, receiving a great education from ACS to prep them for college. I am not making any sacrifices in either their academic or spiritual development. I cannot put a price on the value of this education and the Christ centered environment Aurora Christian offers. Kevin Kedzior

My son Cory, who is now a Junior at Aurora Christian, has been attending ACS ever since preschool.I must say, if we had to do it all over again, we would most definately place him at Aurora Christian again! All of the teachers and the staff care about the children and their well being, it kinda reminds me of "Cheers" ...go to a place where everybody knows your name". And they truly do...well, once you reach that certain grade level and have had those teachers (Junior teachers and below) now we know them all except Senior teachers (next year) :-). We are truly blessed that ACS is able to stay open, as Cory said he wouldn't finish school or attend ANY other high school if they closed. Whew, close one. We truly recommend ACS, they ROCK!!

Got paddled here as a 5 year old child from a principal who enjoyed abusing children with their pants at their ankles. Let's not forget that.
