Our daughter has attended Forest Bluff since she was 2 years old and is now 5 1/2, and our son began in the Youth Children's Community when he was 16 months. He is now 3 years old and in the Primary classroom. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the community at Forest Bluff. It is a warm, welcoming, calm and nurturing environment for all the children and families. The teachers have a unique sense of joy and dedication that inspires a love of learning in their students, and I am continually amazed at what they are exposed to in the classroom. It has been a pleasure to watch our children begin their educational journey in such a special place. As an alumna of the school, it is particularly special for me to see our children progress through classrooms just as I did.

Our two children attended Forest Bluff School from ages 3 and 5 through graduation at age 14. The eldest is now a freshman in college and the younger is a junior in high school. I truly believe that the education and experiences they received at FBS were instrumental in shaping who they are today. Both have gone on to have successful high school careers. Academically they are strong students who push themselves inside and outside the classroom. They are motivated and enjoy having strong relationships with their teachers. The number one comment I have heard from their teachers is that they have a unique ability to express themselves both on paper and through public speaking, something that was emphasized throughout their Forest Bluff years. The confidence that was fostered at Forest Bluff in the classroom and on the Secondary level trips continues to show itself in their academics; extracurricular activities including sports, service work, debate club and film making; and interactions with peers and adults. Both have proven themselves as leaders with a strong self of self and compassion for others. We could be more proud that our children attended Forest Bluff School.

We sent our two children to Forest Bluff from 18 months through 8th grade graduation. I can't say enough about this amazing school. It played a huge part in their formation-our kids are solid in knowing who they are, they have huge respect for humanity, the environment, themselves and a strong love of learning. They made the transition to the academic rigors of conventional high school very well, fully equipped to handle heavy loads and high level classes. They often refer to their days at Forest Bluff as "the good ol' days" when they were able to learn in an environment that was focused on each individual path and not hyper-focused on tests, quizzes and grades. Forest bluff is amazing and I really miss it but it will always be a part of our lives! It's just that kind of place!

My daughter is currently in the Young Children Community, she's almost 3 years old. I absolutely love this school, she has given the tools to learn on her own and be independent. She loves her teacher and going to school everyday. She has made friends and learned new and exciting things that will help her development. Can't wait for my other daughter to be old enough to join her big sister!

Forest Bluff School has been a wonderful place for my children. It has fostered a love of learning in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment. It has also fostered independence, both in thought and in personal responsibility. Because children spend more than one year in each classroom, there is never lost time in getting to know the teacher and routine - and this has allowed more authentic learning to take place on Day One of each school year. There are so many wonderful things we have discovered in our 4 plus years at the school, including the focus on reading good literature and individualized goals for each child allowing them to work as far as they desire in all subject areas, not being limited by "the group." The longer learning periods have allowed our children to practice deep concentration and has fostered working through the task at hand without the "bell" interrupting their thought process. Most of all, we have appreciated the values that Forest Bluff has maintained with manners reinforced, appropriate dress, and no technology. My children play outside and enjoy life as we did when we were young, instead of becoming addicted to screens. My children's classmates are wonderful kids and they have developed enduring friendships.
