This school treats special needs children terribly. The pope has mandated that children with autism should be supported and included. Instead, the principal of this school treats autistic children like trash... throwing them out. Apparently, she thinks her opinion is more important than the pope. Total hypocrite. Fake christian, its a facade. She could care less about children, she only cares about profit and her fake christian image. Its a lie.

My nephew attended this school for a brief time with special needs. The school states how they focus on all children's needs and learning differences, and he was treated very poorly. His parents and family were all appalled by the nun's and principal's behavior and treatment of him. In the end, the nuns and principal admitted that they could not handle his special need, which is high functioning autism, and that he needed to attend a different school. If you have an autistic child, DO NOT send your child to this school. They can not handle the need nor do they know how to treat the child appropriately. There are other schools that will handle the special needs of your child and treat them much nicer. Proceed with caution!!!! POOR BEHAVIOR AND MANNERS!!!! Don't waste your time!

I am very disappointed in hearing about how this school picks and chooses the children they want to teach. God loves every child no matter what his needs are. To hear that a child is restricted to learn in a God loving environment because of a difference is wrong on so many levels. Had Our Lady of Port Richmond receive $1 from state or federal funding, this child would be getting his needs met. But, because his parents wanted him to have religion and God be a part of his education, he gets nothing. Think of the message that sends to the child, his parents, and all Catholics. I went 12 years of Catholic school and am appalled that this occurred.

If yuh support this school in any way you are a Nazi. This school treats special needs children like garbage. They will degrade them and make them feel insignificant when they need to feel important and significant above all else. These children are very sensitive and they need all the help and attention they can get. This awful school not only doesn't give them the attention they need, they go or if their way to make these children humiliated. They bully them and constantly degrade them. Do not under any circumstances put your child in this school. They deserve better!

Great School. I have two kids that go to OLPR and they love it. Teachers are great. the staff is wonderful. I wish they took away the fundraiser fee, its just annoying to keep up with. I never had a problem here and they are always so helpful.
