This used to be a great school. When they had teachers that knew their job and truly cared about the children. Then all 8 teachers resigned (hmmmm I wonder why). There's only one problem in that school and it's not hard to figure it out. A good team requires a good leader!

I went to that school and one of my teachers I think it was the 3rd grade teacher gave me detention because my aunt who picks me up from school everyday is a bus driver and that she couldn't wait any longer to wait to talk to me teacher so then we left and the next day she gave me detention for not waiting for her I rolled my eyes and she gave me another detention then I told my mom and then she told the school that my mom is LOOKING for another school to go to LOOKING and the next morning the secretary grabbed me by my shoulder pulled me in the office and told em I couldn't go to class I ran out but she caught me and then I called my mom and told her to please come pick me and she said what happened and I explained to her then my mom, dad, uncle, aunt, grandma and cousin came to the school cursed the principle out and then said why they grabbed me and she explained I was crying because I was scared I was in 3rd grade and then we left and I went to a new school that was a way better school then our lady help of christians and I've been in my new school for the past 6 years and I'm almost about to graduate 8th grade

That school is corrupted if you are any other race than white the administration will treat like garbage. Most of the teachers are cool but others are racist, bias, and truly horrible. One of my sisters was said to her that no one likes her because she is black by a student. An obvious racist comment the child didn’t get in any trouble, the next week my sister said oh my God she got a detention. That school is a bad place to be!!!!!

Wonderful School. Great respect for the teachers. My only concern is we need more diversity in the hiring process of teachers. Otherwise, thumbs up for the teachers, principle, volunteers, students and any other persons who help in making OLHC the best in the Lehigh Valley.
