parent The Middle/Junior High School needs to be revamped. Each 6th 7th and 8th grade teacher is teaching their own social studies. There is no specialist JHS teacher for Social Studies, which is so important for the NYS Social Studies tests and preparing students for High School. They should follow the model of nearby Catholic Schools and have the 5th Grade teacher become part of the middle school program, have the 5th grade teaching position be the Social Studies teacher for Grades 5-8, have the 6th 7th and 8th grade teachers teach their specialty area to the 5th graders and self-contain the 4th grade class subjects with one teacher. Also, the principal does not require the teachers to update their webpages. It is January and a kindergarten teacher has October's homework and lessons online. Poor supervision for a new Catholic Academy.
