NSA is a great option for those looking for a unique academic setting combined with an emphasis on athletics. My son is graduating this year and we looked at NSA for post grad. He ultimately made the decision to play Junior Hockey in Canada however, I know he would have gone to NSA if we had looked at NSA for his undergrad years. The staff were welcoming and Lisa Wint, Head of School was so helpful. Thank you NSA.

My daughter is an alumni of NSA having spent 2 years there as a student and member of the girl's hockey team. The opportunity to study at NSA, train at the Olympic Center and life in Lake Placid was an amazing experience that prepared her for a successful transition to college both academically and athletically. The current leadership, teaching and coaching staff at NSA are truly dedicated to helping make each individual student athlete a success. Go NSA!

The "school" is a complete joke! At the end of this year the institution will be 300k in the red and is burning through staff at an alarming rate. The current head of school is inexperienced and incompetent. This dump closed its doors last year for two whole weeks and should have stayed closed. You are fool to even consider this risk. —Submitted by a teacher
