As a previous student of this school I would like to say a few things. I went here for kindergarten-3rd grade. I was held back for another year of 1st grade. We were told it had something to do with my birthday and I was a bit young. But I was harassed by a teacher for not wanting to play with a girl that was incredibly mean during recess. I believe the girl was the teacher's niece. She taught 4th grade and the way she spoke to me makes me so glad I never had her class for a full year because I truly believe she would have tormented me. Not only that but you will not believe what kind of bullying went on at this school back then. I'm 20yrs old now and after reading one of the other reviews I'm deeply saddened to find out it's still going on. The teachers did nothing to stop it. This was the place I learned about sex too. Again I was only there from kindergarten-3rd and then we moved but I would hear about detailed sexual activities from students my age during recess. There were a good amount of young students cussing at this private school. I met a boy that stole one of his mothers rings and chased a girl around trying to propose. On another occasion he had cigarettes. While some of this may seem inevitable at any school or just silly like the boy with the ring I will promise you that on many occasions the teachers crossed significant boundary lines and also ignored me and other children who were dealing with bullying. The public schools I went to after going to Holy Cross (Lady of The Lake) always took action. I had so many great teachers after moving. I graduated high school a year early with honors. I will say they weren't perfect but I was much more comfortable after leaving this particular school. I'm warning parents now. If nothing has changed I would reconsider sending your child here. I have horrible memories of this place and the staff.
