Dear Brandy, I sincerely want to thank you for the opportunity to observe your school today. I enjoyed every moment of my time at Absorbent Minds. I felt welcome from the moment I walked in this morning. I would like to also extend a hand of appreciation to your staff. Although, I did not have an opportunity to spend much time with Kelly, she was so gracious and helpful when I arrived. Your classroom teachers are amazing! Each one was helpful and sweet to answer my questions and offer information about the workings of your classes. I had just one short experience many years ago with Montessori and while I have always heard wonderful things about the approach, after today, I am impressed beyond words. Believe me, when my oldest son and daughter in law get around to having kids, this future grandmother will certainly put her two cents in for Montessori! I would be remise to not mention how incredible all the students are as well. What a wonderful group of children. The way they conduct themselves is remarkable. Your staff is, without a doubt, extremely well trained and passionate about what they do. It really shows.

absolutely fabulous school. we fell in love when we first toured it, and now that our 3 year old daughter has been in school there for 4 months, it is obvious how much she is thriving and learning every day! my husband and i joke about the time around the dinner table she brought up the topic of "echolocation" hahaha....she's 3!!! we can't believe the things she learns and talks about :) it's amazing what sponges kids are. her teachers are also so sweet and caring too. she talks about them all the time, and loves them! the whole environment feels like a loving home, and we're so happy we chose to bring her there. i recommend it to everyone!

The staff at Absorbent Minds Montessori School make the school the fantastic environment that it is. The teachers inspire the children to reach for new capabilities in learning and fun! The teachers aren't there to simply attempt to pump the children's heads full of facts or engage them in hours of busy work - they are genuinely interested in helping each child grow at their own individual level. The school works with the children on a variety of topics, including daily life skills, reading, art, science, math, music and physical activities in a variety of forms including dance and tae kwon do. Each day is filled with fun new concepts and engaging application of skills that require daily review. My daughter cherishes her time at school with her teachers and always has so much to tell me about each day. I am astounded at how fast she is learning and growing academically, personally and socially at school! I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful program at Absorbent Minds Montessori School! Go in, tour the school and meet the staff - see for yourself what a wonderful program and environment the school is offering to your child, too!

I am so appreciative for Absorbent Minds Montessori School (AMMS). Two years ago I was beginning the search for where I would enroll my son for preschool. I visited and toured three different schools and spoke on the phone to many more. I am a first grade teacher and have a master’s degree in education. Due to my background in education I had a long list of requirements regarding which school would be right for my son. I can tell you that AMMS made my choice an easy one! It was by far the hands-down best choice I found! My son has been a student for a year and a half and I would love to share some of the reasons why AMMS is a remarkable school! One of the major strengths of AMMS is how it offers an extremely balanced program with a very strong emphasis on academics. I am still shocked but thankful that my four year old’s “Progress Report” is eight pages long! He has the opportunity to participate in both mathematic and language arts activities as well as many other subjects on a daily basis. I can also speak to how well AMMS prepares students that may choose to transition to a traditional school environment. I have had two first grade students in my classroom that graduated from the AMMS kindergarten program. I was extremely impressed with how self-disciplined they were as well as with how academically prepared they were. Both students met and exceeded my expectations as first graders and I attribute a large degree of that success to how strong of a program AMMS offers. I am continually impressed with how organized, clean and professional AMMS is. AMMS keeps the classrooms kid-friendly, safe, and clean. I really appreciate the level of communication AMMS offers to parents. Brandy and Kelly run the office extremely efficiently and keep the staff and parents well informed. At the beginning of our first year at AMMS, my husband and I attended a parent meeting and received a very helpful 40 page “Parent Handbook.” AMMS offers the perfect balance of being professional and personal. The integrity they show in running their school is rock-solid. I am so thankful for the family feel at AMMS. Brandy, Kelly and all of the teachers and staff members are incredible. It is obvious how passionate they are about helping students reach their full potential academically and socially. I love their hearts for children and for teaching. My son had a very difficult time adjusting to his first year of school. Brandy, Kelly and his other teachers were incredibly patient, kind, supportive and empathetic. They offered their time over and over for conferences, phone calls and emails. We talked, laughed and even cried together! I am thankful that teaching young children is more than a “job” for the staff at AMMS. I believe they see teaching young children as a calling. For all these reasons and more I believe that AMMS offers a tremendous educational program that is unmatched in this area. Even more importantly than that, I believe that Brandy and her staff are some of the most compassionate, caring and thoughtful people I have ever met and I am thankful to know them!

We researched and visited many different preschools in the Cuyahoga Falls/Stow area during the year before our son started preschool, and our very first visit to Absorbent Minds made our decision simple: aside from home, this was the "next best place" for our son to be. All of the teachers are amazing with the kids, the classrooms are bright and organized, their Montessori method is an excellent mix of both individual and group learning through work and play, and the flexibility of scheduling is great. My husband and I are amazed at how much our son has learned and how well he interacts his teachers and classmates. We love knowing that he in such a safe, caring environment and he is so happy there. He tells everyone that he LOVES school. Absorbent Minds is a truly special place and we already plan to have our younger (1-yr old) son attend in a couple years when he is old enough!
