I'm So happy we have a Christian School to send our daughter too.. God bless all those involved in the ministry...

Jun 13, 2016
ACS appears to be a great place to send your children. We thought that too. Our children have been attending this school for the past 2 years. At first appearances this school and the administration seem to be caring Christians. They appear to be very kind and caring people. When inquiring about enrollment, this school had told us is that they are not allowed to discriminate based on any reason, due to the fact that they receive federal funding for school lunches, therefore they accepted all children. Therefore, they accepted all religions, and backgrounds. However, time always will tell the truth. It is true, appearances can be deceiving. Recently there has been a major change going on at the school, which appears to be some type of "cleansing" of administration, teachers, and students. April 29th, 2016 stakeholders were notified that there will be a new Principal, Vice Principal, and 3 Teachers would be leaving ACS. (Also, in April and May, 3 students' families were also notified that they were no longer welcome to attend ACS for no apparent reasons...however these 3 families were not of ACS's brand of Christianity. The students affected, were very bright, their parents were very nice, and all were paying their tuition.) When we realized that this school was expressing what now appears to be fake Christianity, it deeply saddened and sickened us. It appears to some ACS parents that this school is demonstrating selective Christian views, and hypocritically ignores the basic teachings of Jesus within their “Christian” board decisions. BTW, you will not find a list of exactly who is on the “school board” anywhere. The obvious “cleansing” of any student/family that does not meet their robot mold is strikingly apparent. This is very disheartening for the parents to have to deal with explaining to their children why they can no longer attend their school. It appears that ACS has a specific mold of student/families they currently want to maintain. However, America is about diversity, inclusion, and Christianity is about acceptance and love. Period. One more thing, during the "Grandparent's Day program" the school instructed 3 little boys to remove their shirts during a "skit" on stage in front of an auditorium full of attendees. Many parents were shocked and disgusted by this incident, and parents were never informed of this beforehand, nor gave approval of such a thing. The children were told by their first grade teacher to volunteer who would take their shirt off for the skit at grandparent's day. So then the children "auditioned" in the classroom. This was all approved by the principal, Mrs. Miller. Excuse us if we, and several other unnamed parents do not approve of this, and fail to see how this is appropriate OR "Christian" in any way. This school is obviously overpriced, and teetering on having cultist tendencies. We ended up giving the school 2 stars, because overall our children did get a good education, and they, themselves enjoyed their classrooms. Would highly not recommend. However, we would recommend an investigation on how they are allowed to call themselves Christian when they ignore Jesus' instructions to love everyone, and to show servant leadership in ministry...
