My 3 years old has been there for almost a year. It is a great place. What is written in the older reviews is still correct. It is well organized, the staff is loving. More importantly the kids are happy to go to school, and enjoy to learn.

My daughter spent five years here, and it was like a second home. The staff was caring and the environment was incredibly enriching for her. She didn't just learn to read, she came to love reading. She didn't just learn to do multiplication and division, she understood in a concrete way why these operations work the way the do. When she aged out of the lower elementary program, she was ready for public school. The transition was easy. All in all, an excellent place for a young child to learn and grow.

We recently moved from out of state and have been thrilled to place our child at Corvallis Montessori School. The teachers are warm, loving, and well-trained; the facilities are very nice and well-maintained; and the school is well organized. Most important, our child is happy to come to school every day!

My children love CMS! The guides are wonderful role models. The school is warm and nurturing. I really like that they teach all of my child: academics, behavior, community. This summer for travel reasons, they had to be in another school. All I have heard is how Montessori would do it differently and how they can't wait to get back. For me, it makes me a better parent. I have learned so much. My children have been there many years, and I will keep them there as long as I can. Each day when I drop my children off, I know they are in good hands, and that I will pick them up better children.

I just get SO tired of pointing out to the staff how rude they are to people. I have heard staff speaking very rudely to young children, I have had numerous encounters with admin over newsletter entries that are rude and seem to come from a place of thinking that parents are just so stupid, they are in the dark ages about race and gender issues, I'm just tired of it all. They just don't learn anything from repeated conversations.
