good and i go to it

We've been a Touchstone family for seven years, with our older child being there from Kindergarten all the way through, and our younger child now being in third grade. The team at Touchstone have my absolute respect and deep appreciation. It is true, they offer excellent educational materials, with a strong emphasis on integrated learning, they have small class sizes, and include often missed breadth in music, language, art, PE, technology, etc. But more than anything else, they truly care about each individual child and families well-being. Our children have blossomed in the attentive, caring and personalized environment. I feel that we as parents, our child, the teachers and the principal are all partners working together in every way, considering not just formal learning, but personal development. I could not recommend this school more highly.

Our daughter's experience at Touchstone has been AMAZING. We were a little nervous about moving her mid-semester but the teachers and kids were all so welcoming that she felt at home in no time. The teachers at Touchstone know exactly how to excite their students so that they are self-motivated to learn (we saw a huge change in our daughter's attitude and motivation in just a few weeks because all subjects are taught in such interesting ways), they know when to challenge vs. when to be supportive, they communicate expectations clearly, and they are skilled at training the kids to be responsible for their work and behavior. Touchstone is simply excellence in education.

We have had a wonderful experience at Touchstone. The small class sizes, individual attention, integrated curriculum and most importantly the excellent teachers have encouraged our children to be confident learners as well as team players. There is a feeling of community, and teachers, parents and children know each other across grades. I couldn't be happier with the academic and social environment. However, the one area that can be improved are the extra-curricular activities and facilities- and it seems that the latter is being addressed with a new playground being put in over the spring break.

Touchstone has been a fabulous environment for our son. A good balance between academic, social, emotional and physical development. The administration and teachers are responsive to families needs. They have been adding after school "enrichment" classes to round out limited sports options. I do wish we had a better facility; more space. However, that's a small blemish compared to our experience the last two years.
