Both of my kids went here. My daughter from preschool to 3rd, and my son from 6th to 8th grade. I loved the small classrooms and the teachers and staff truly care about your child. It was like a second family! Some of my best friends (and theirs) were made there. My kids have both excelled in public school now because of the academics taught here. I wish we lived closer my daughter would still be there!

Excellent education. Night and day different from public school.

I attended this school from preschool til 7th grade. Looking back, I recognize that I had a phenomenal education here, despite the funny name. :) This school is probably very difficult to jump into at higher levels. While I attended, many new students were overwhelmed with the amount of work it is. That being said, I think that *most* of that work payed off. There were things that I had to work hard to learn and now I do not remember at all. But I'm quite certain that's the way it is everywhere. Being of mixed race, I was not even questioned by students for my skin color. And now, it seems shocking to me, for the moment I entered high school, everyone just HAD to ask and joke around. My memory of the atmosphere is somewhat surreal to me now, that students were so polite (although there usually end up being 1-2 nasty rude kids by 7-8th years). I must say though, My 5 star rating is to the k-6th levels of the school. a side from 7th grade being tough, there was far less attention and instruction from teachers. Students would joke about assignments being "as clear as mud." And they really were. Math class was practically self taught (it showed when we all failed). I learned/retained very little in the "music history" portion. But the writing/grammar is absolutely impeccable at this school. High school writing will seem like nothing after this. I think that my 7th grade year was in a time of difficult transition for the school, and I experienced the result. Other than that, I left the school 3 weeks in to my 8th grade year due to continued results of the previous year, and drama that arose when a certain female made her return; drama that I was not involved in, but was too disgusted with to remain in an environment where it was allowed to thrive (since the teacher(s) were out of the class room so often. I know for a fact that what I experienced in my 7th-8th years has sharply changed, but there are still several issues I have with the indoctrination type stuff. Nonetheless, its typical private school issues. It was still 100% worth it, and I can whole-heartedly recommend this school to parents who wants the best around for their kids (just make sure you can handle the work load).
