This is my families first year at St. Agatha School and 2 months in we could not be more pleased. I have a preschooler and a kindergartner attending. The entire staff has been so warm and welcoming. We feel like part of a community in such a short amount of time. I have been so impressed with how attentive the teachers are to my kids particular needs. And most importantly, they love school!

Interesting that the teachers give the school the best reviews. I guess they're singing for their supper. I was not impressed by the cliquish nature of the middle school teachers, and their submissive administration. Sadly, they're looking for perfect children and not God's children. If kids aren't perfect, the faculty will bully them until they leave. Very disappointing.

Small community based school with emphasis on educating kids to be academically strong and active participants in creating a better world. We love that our daughter is in a Kindergarten class of 17 kids and is not getting lost in the masses. Our experience with the teachers and administration is that they have been fabulous communicators and we have not had any issues with organizational hiccups that one finds at larger institutions. Our family highly recommends St. Agatha!

Have been a parent with 1 or more children at St. Agatha for past 15 years- amazing! My kids have been very well prepared for high school by the incredible teachers. Small class sizes, plus music , PE, and sports programs that aren’t constantly on budget chopping block! Wonderful community!

Very inclusive and community oriented. Every child was welcomed and accepted. It was a pleasure to see that they focused on community building with the parish in addition to academics. The school lacks in organization and academics. Students learn basic grammar usually taught in fourth or fifth grades when they're in the sixth and seventh grade at St. Agatha. Most of the subjects are like that, and there is no mandatory foreign language study or student-made clubs, which is a part of the quintessential middle school experience. They are either a year behind or moving at a very slow pace with their curriculum compared to some of the other catholic and public schools. However, most of Oregon's schools are like that. If your child ends up moving to another state or school after going there, they may have to do some "catch-up" over the summer. Overall, it is a fine school devoted to building faithful students who are leaders and give back to their community, but requires more communication between the students, parents, and school faculty.
