This school used to be a wonderful place for children to learn, and grow. Now, thanks to Joan Oksenholt, Kari Fairfield, and the horribly greedy conference, the school is nothing but a run down, dumb, waste of money. Kari Oksenholt, at the front desk, does nothing but sit in the office for a few hours a day, she doesn't even answer the phone like she's supposed to, and she is a total witch to the students. She also makes the high school students do most of her filing and paperwork. Joan Oksenholt, principal, is lazy, she claims she does so much but she only is at the school maybe 3 hours a day, she teaches the same thing over and over again, and is quite literally the worst teacher and principal a school could have, because of her lack of knowledge, and communication skills. She also made the school get the dumbest security system out there, which has caused many of the students to be late to class because no one is available to answer the door. And conference has become so greedy, it costs $800 a month to go to this dumb school for 7-12th graders, and if you're unable to pay it in full by time you graduate you cannot get into any college because they will not send your transcripts. Honestly I think this school needs to be shut down, and Joan and Kari need to be fired.

We recently moved to Lincoln City and put our daughter in to the 5th grade at Lincoln City SDA School. She had home-schooled previously, but, thanks to the teachers and other students, made the transition to school very happily. Thanks.

I attended Lincoln City Seventh-Day Adventist School from 1st grade to 12th, and graduated with honors. The academic program there prepared me to go on and conquer the university setting and succeed in doing so. This school prepared me with study habits, a good sense of time management and allowed me the opportunity to have leadership roles within student government and other activities. I would recommend this school to anyone with a love of learning and the desire to succeed.
