The front picture just says it all

We live in a world where people hide behind aliases and feel that it's OK to disparage others. We as a culture have become numb to it. We hide behind screens and act like our words do not influence or harm others. There are two recent reviews from people on here who do not have the courage to actually identify themselves correctly - neither of these two people identified are parents of this school. It is possible and even likely they are using aliases to spread their message. What these two most recent reviews are saying is just flat out incorrect. Bullying is not something that is tolerated in any fashion here. God is the absolute center of everything that we do and are. Yes - I'm a paid staff person here - but why take my word for it? We recently were accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) - and here's what they have to say: "From interviews with staff members, parents and students, it was clear that all constituents are engaged with the ROARS theme. Teachers regularly connect the components of this theme to classroom management efforts, those leading chapels and Bible classes integrate the theme into the content, and even parents use the terms with their children at home." "The board is comprised of mature, Spirit-led Christians who submit their plans and their decisions to the Lord through prayer. The principal reflects Christ-like character and provides excellent spiritual leadership. Teacher satisfaction and confidence in the school leadership is very high." "In addition to regular daily Bible classes and consistent integration of biblical principles in academic subjects, students have a wide variety of age appropriate opportunities for exercising spiritual disciplines, personal reflection, and character development on a regular basis related to their Bible instruction. The observed Bible lessons included questions, discussion, and reflection. Student led prayer groups occur regularly and sincere worship and praise are a part of Chapel. A fifth grade student shared that she prefers the split Chapels where grades K-3 are in the gym and grades 4-8 are in the Library; she explained that the worship in the older group is “deeper” and “emotional.” Students have a myriad of opportunities to serve others through mission work such as visiting nursing homes, collecting for the food pantry, and even going to West Virginia for a mission trip." These students are taught to approach life and how to apply a biblical worldview to it. The school is Christ-centered and Spirit-led. We teach our students to be courageous. To be strong in the faith. To understand conflict and to handle it gracefully and through the Spirit. If you want a true Christian environment, this is a place you must see and experience. Your children will thrive here.

All 3 of my kids will be at Rhema next year! Though I hear they've always been a good school, a lot of changes have come over the past 1-2 years. The teachers and staff are AMAZING. The families at Rhema are so sincere and kind - they come together and raise each other up. The children in all grades LOVE school and love being there because the environment is so healthy and encouraging. The curriculum is strong and the teachers really invest in each and every child. The children are being taught morals, values, and good character which creates an environment that lets learning thrive! We LOVE this school!

This school is a great choice when looking for Christian education. It offers preschool options beginning at age 2 and continues through 8th grade. Class sizes are small, which makes it easier for the teachers to get to know each student, their needs, and help them grow closer to God. They don't just have Bible class, like many other places, but help students create meaningful relationships with the Lord and those around them. They also provided students with many outreach activities. Staff and parents work closely together to help grow the whole child. Rhema teaches subjects such as Spanish and cursive, which have been removed from most public schools. They also have a very extensive music program with band options beginning in 4th grade. There are many extra curricular activities to get involved in from sports to musical. There is a 1st-4th grade dance group as well as 5th-8th grade cheer team. I can't speak highly enough about Rhema Christian School.

My daughter has been attending Rhema for the last few years after spending her first years at a different school. The change of scenery has been amazing. The teachers are very caring and nurturing and their commitment to Christian education is outstanding. We are so happy we found Rhema and look forward to enrolling our son as soon as he is old enough.
