Currently a senior at Grace Prep High School, our daughter is thriving in an exciting and thoroughly inclusive environment, where she feels free to be her unique self! Whatever labels your child might carry, at Grace Prep they will find a family who accepts them as they are, and loves them enough to challenge them to be their best. If you’re dissatisfied with the status quo of public education, check out the 40 Points of Grace on the school’s website to learn more about their founding principles. Intrigued? Give them a call at the office to schedule a tour, or to plan to have your child “shadow” for a day. For our daughter, that was the most important phone call we’ve ever made.

We have had four children attend and graduate from Grace Prep. We also have hosted a student from Taiwan for the past 3 years who is now a senior at Grace Prep. Grace Prep is a family. It has prepared our children for the next step in life academically, emotionally and spiritually. It is not a bubble. Real issues are discussed and wrestled with. An intelligent faith is developed. Grace Prep wrestles with the real-world messy business of living out grace and truth in community. The teachers care and the students love each other. We encourage families to check it out. You and your children will be blessed.

Grace Prep High School is, in my opinion, no just the premiere Christian high school in all of Centre County, but the premiere high school in all of Centre County, possibly in all of Pennsylvania. With such an excellent public school nearby, that is saying a lot! I am a graduate of State College Area High School, and I wish I had the opportunity to go to an innovative school like Grace Prep. Practically all of the staff at Grace Prep has advanced academic degrees, but what sets this school apart is their innovative approach to learning. Small class sizes, coupled with teachers who greatly care about students and learning go such a long way. I have never seen a small school that pays their staff so fairly, and it shows in everything they do. Everything this school does is with excellence. Their sports programs are incredibly competitive for a school this size. In addition, they provide educational experiences and trips that would be impossible for a public school to undertake. Spiritually, this Christian school is rock solid. As a youth pastor, I have seen many students graduate from Grace Prep, and almost without exception they are more excited and prepared for future than my students who attend public school. As a parent, I would be proud to send my teenager to this school. Please take a very hard look at their website and values and consider sending your son or daughter to Grace Prep High School. I can promise you it will be worth it.

Let me begin by stating that I am, and forever will be, a Grace Prep student. Coming from a large public high school in the area, I was left with confusion about my life path, goals, and who I was as a person. Grace Prep offered the tools and gave me the ability to answer all of those questions myself. Too many public school students are indoctrinated with the belief that college is a necessity. All this leads to is failure and debt as about 56% of all college students drop out. Grace Prep, rather than pressuring the students, invites them to the reality of the market place and the tools to achieve in any path. Many of the students I grew up with attended major universities, achieving along the way. Being less than thrilled with the formal education setting, the Head Master, Bob Gresh enabled a focused education around what I was interested in. Creating marketing graphics, promotional advertisements, and aiding in technology problems in the school, I was able to get the greatest "real world" education available with all of the support I needed. This support was the foundation of me acquiring my Eagle Scout Award as well as tackling all personal walls that stood in my way. The all accepting nature of Grace Prep further enabled me to create incredible friendships that last me to this day. This real world education empowered me to become (as of September 2015) a CTO of two energy companies and the Co-Founder of an advanced analytics company. I credit Grace Prep High School for all of my success as, without it, I would never have found who Meade Lewis truly is and is capable of. My name is Meade Lewis, Co-Founder, CTO, Eagle Scout, Grace Prep Student.

The Gresh family refuses to state what denomination Grace Prep follows. This is a cop out plain and simple. If they refuse to state a denomination then each person can call it what they wish and this school reeks of Baptist theology and when the school via either admins. or faculty states 'we are 'state denomination'' then people will know but until then it's whatever anyone wants to call it and I call it a very negative Baptist high school offering an unrealistic view of life to the students and not providing diversity education at all. If you want your kid in a bubble within a bubble as State College is a bubble and Grace Prep is a bubble and unable to deal with differences in people in the real world of work, college and all the rest after H.S. this is the school for your kid. I have a family member having attended and he had a really, really tough time in the real world due to his lack of exposure to other people and didn't know there are in fact other types of Christians in this big and bad world as he was taught the world was 'bad'. He is also as enough other G.P. grads, afraid to state a negative opinion of his experience at GP due to being 'disowned' by his immediate family. Poor kid. He is a good kid and a good Christian just got tied up in a 'cult' like atmosphere at a 'cult like' school.
