I graduated from Lancaster Mennonite a couple years ago and I would not recommend this school to anyone. To start things off my first day there I noticed right away that there were favorites and I don’t mean I like you a little more. I mean the type where they treat the other students terribly and treat certain students like gods. Aside from that the teachers don’t know how to teach or when to help students. Altogether even though this school seems good from the outside it is falling apart and resources are stretched too thin.

My daughter is enrolled in the seventh grade. Their new curriculum is teaching them how to work in groups and think critically. They learn history and current events through a moral lens that is appropriate for a Mennonite School. I am very impressed with the presentations they give to the parents and the public. For this grade and maturity level I feel they are far ahead of where I was at this age. I am confident that when they start high school they will be prepared.

I go to Lancaster mennonite and love it. It is a great school. The teachers are amazing and classes are fun. I'm in ninth grade now, and my younger sister is in seventh, planning to come to the middle school at the main campus next year. I recommend this school to everyone. The middle school has gone through some changes that I think are quite beneficial. I have grown spiritually as well as learning how to communicate my thoughts clearly. Lancaster Mennonite is my home away from home. I'll go back to the unbelievable teachers. All of the staff members at this school are great. It is hard to find a teacher here that you are able to find anything dislikable about. You can tell that the teachers here are excited to teach and want you to succeed. Please, if you are looking for a good place to spend all of middle school and high school learning in, come check out Lancaster Mennonite. It is a great environment to learn and grow up in.
