First let me address a few of the previous negative comments. 1. I know personally of someone whose child has been attending Summit since second grade. They are now in high school there. They experienced teasing and bullying as well. It was promptly dealt with in an appropriate way by the administration. 2. I am a Texas certified teacher, my wife is a university graduate, my father an engineer and my mother is a retired high school counselor with twenty-five years experience. We have all experienced the class work from the school. The curriculum is anything but easy or lacking in college preparation. We all found that our student is coming out completely prepared for university studies. Summit is first and foremost a school of God. It promotes Christian values, and encourages students to get involved in their churches. It is not free from issues, but the administration is quick to react in a Christ like manor. The teachers their are amazing, and truly care for each and every student. Many of them go above and beyond to help students do their best. Our son has always been able to get help with studies when needed. They also helped us through a tough time in our lives, and went out of their way to help our family. I can truly say our son will graduate from a school where he has been seeded with the word, knowledge and wisdom of God. You couldn't find a better God centered Christian school in the area from our experience.

I’m a student here. And I get bullied by people who just want popularity. They even call me retarded and the teachers don’t do anything about it. The people who work here have nothing better to do than pick on the students and call me to the office for a DUMB reason. The people who work there only take down the low star ratings on their website. They also talk about politics and say dumb stuff like “ raise your hand if you want to kill donald trump!!!” And I’m tired of it. I’m gonna warm you now...... do not let your child go to this school unless you wanna waste your money on you child’s education 😕😕

We’ve had a great experience at SCA. The staff knows my boys by name and makes them feel special and loved. I’ve found the staff to be MUCH more accommodating and understanding about my sons medical needs and any concerns I have than when we were in public school. It’s been a day and night difference in my older sons learning and happiness since he started school here. All in all, it’s been a great move for us.

Summit has been a true blessing to our family! It's a place where they feel welcomed for who they are and challenged to be the best they can be. It is a safe place where my kids are growing to be mature, educated and well-rounded adults.

Sorry about my last review I was still figuring it out, but the teachers here are very nice, understanding, caring and thoughtful, I wish They would give a face to face warning and conversation about others mistakes, before taking it to the next level Otherwise I would give this school a big thanks for raising my faith, and how your students can tell something is wrong just by your lack or communication!! And body language! That made a big difference in me. It was a really hard time fitting in, understanding what’s ok to talk about, what’s not ok to do or talk, but giving someone a heads up before a decision is made would be a big difference, i was surprised about how they would jump the gun with a consequence. Good staff, teachers and all of the above otherwise, definitely take a shot at this school if you decide
