Our daughter has been at Legacy for a year and half now, and she loves it -- Legacy completely restored her love of learning and being a student, which we lost at our former Intermediate School. I cannot say enough good things about the University Model and the value of the independent assignments/home days. I feel very strongly she will be prepared for college study in a unique way because of the model. Legacy is also VERY academically competitive based on recent data -- our 2017 Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy graduating Seniors had an average SAT score of 1239, and between 40% to 50% of the class scored a variety of scores between 1200 to 1530!

We have been at Legacy for nine years, and we love the families, teachers and other students! It is a rigorous educational experience centered on Christ's Word! We have been able to participate in sports, NHS, Praise Band, theater and many more fun activities. We are thankful that our children have been able to score high on nationwide testing they do each year, and we feel they are being challenged academically as well. But mostly, we love the community of family and people that we get to do life with......it has been such a blessing!

Don't bother applying if your child is a sinner. All the kids that go here are perfect. Our daughter was suspended at a public school because of poor choices. So we wanted to surround her with Christian love and examples that would help her. But Legacy is not any of those things. We were not communicated with until a week before school start. So we asked for status of our application and received a letter in the mail denying her admittance without a due process. We were not even granted a family interview per schools policy. I know that I sound mad, but I am actually grateful because God showed us a much better school right around the corner(Champs Educational Services) Where there's a maximum of 6 students per teacher. Our daughter is thriving and loves going to school.

Legacy has been life changing for our family!

My two daughters have attended Legacy for seven years. I can say that enrolling them in Legacy was the best parenting decision that we made. Not only did my wife and I get to spend more time with them as they were growing up, but we also had an active part in their education. My 11th grader will be taking pre-calculus and dual credit classes with Lone Star College this year. This is a rigorous curriculum and my girls have had to spend hours at home to keep up with the course work. The program has taught my daughters to be self-disciplined with completing their homework with no direction from me. They have learned to communicate directly with their teachers via their Chromebooks whenever they have questions about their assignments. The grading system and school structure becomes more like college as you advance through high school so that it is a smooth transition to college for the graduates. Both of my daughters are college ready and they still have 2 and 3 years left at Legacy. We are very pleased with our decision to send our girls to Legacy.
