My children has attended Mount Hebron Christian Academy since they were 18 months and are still currently there in Kindergarten. The staff there is awesome as well as the Office Manager and the Director. My children love it at Mount Hebron Christian Academy and so do i!

I have two children at MHCA and I absolutely love it! Ms. Inga and Ms. Sylvia are such blessings to our kids! When we pick up our two year old, his face is always clean, and he always looks happy which is a far cry from our last experience at another childcare facility. Our 5year old who is in Pre-K4, always comes home with homework and tells us about all about his day, and he is ALWAYS excited! The office staff is always so friendly and understanding. MHCA has been the greatest experience we have had in a facility to teach and care for our children!

I called this school to inquire about services today and spoke to a Ms. Dale , she was condescending throughout the whole conversation. I asked to tour the facility to see if it was a good fit for my family and was told I could only see the gym because that’s where my son would be for the after school program. I thought that was VERY odd seeing I’ve toured three other care centers prior to calling and had no problem viewing the whole facility. I told her I had other children that I would possibly want to go if everything went well. She had a attitude and kept interrupting me, when I asked to speak to her supervisor because of her lack of customer service her response was “ you sure can , you can call back at 10:30” she kept asking other parents around her” am I being rude?” While giggling Then proceeded to tell me “I asked the other parents and they said I’m being professional!” Like why would you even have me on speaker phone that’s just tacky. Overall I would NOT have my son here if the office staff is that abrasive I can’t imagine the staff. Ghetttto ......I would advise ANYONE thinking about having a child attend TOUR the WHOLE school , they’re hiding something....... smh

I love this school!! The director is such a blessing to the children and parents who have their students enrolled. The teachers work well with the children.

There is a new teacher this year who is not familiar with the Abeka or the ACSI curriculum. She has the children doing work that a 2 year old can do and has failed to challenge the children or communicate with their pre k teachers to find out where the class ended in studies at the end of the 09 school year. She refuses to give the kids spelling tests and as of today, the children have not had any math assignments. Furthermore, Ms. Lillie has failed to communicate to the parents any additional assistance that a child needs. On my child's progress report for the 1st 6 weeks, she received excellent in all areas where applicable and received satisfactory marks as well. She received the highest level in her math eventhough the class has not had any math assignments at all. The pre K teachers are very good because they challenge the children and work with each child to bring them up to the level that they should be at. At the end of the 09 school year, the pre k students were doing 2 column addition. I would not send my child to MHCA unless I have spoken directly with other parents to see what they have experienced. Do not take the word of Ms. Primm. Ms. Primm the administrator has refused to implement a standard curriculum and has not put forth an effort to get the kindergarten class on track. As of October 23, 2009 2 children have withdrawn and one child has transferred to the 1st grade. $420.00 is a lot to pay for your child to color everyday and not even tell you what they learned that day.
