We have been a part of the Primrose School of Round Rock at Forest Creek family since our first child was three months old and we could not be happier! The teachers and staff are AMAZING and treat our kids like their own.The curriculum is challenging and the teachers are remarkably supportive. I love watching our kids run into the school each morning because they are so excited to be there! I never thought I would feel this good about where we bring our children everyday.

This was an amazing day care before the new owners took over a couple years ago. They fired the Director who'd been there a few years and began instituting an unbending rhetoric for the children. When my child experienced some behavior issues, they refused to help us institute a behavior chart or even communication between ourselves and the teacher so that we could positively reinforce good behavior at home. The owner told me that my child needed to be "intrinsically" motivated. They then expelled my 4 year old. The school itself is not interested in their own rhetoric and my child now happily attends Kids R Kids where they were very kind and caring about working through my child's behavior issues. My daughter has outgrown her previous behavior and is doing amazing in the KRK private Kindergarten. Her expulsion was a blessing in disguise.

I have been a Primrose School of Round Rock at Forest Creek parent for more than ten years now. My youngest two still attend. Above all, I appreciate that the staff truly cares for my children. And the academics and activities are excellent. Each of my older children was well prepared for Kindergarten.

My daughter has been going to this school for the last two years, since she was 8 months old. She has Down syndrome and I was extremely nervous about putting her in daycare. We toured several schools, but none of them felt right. When we went to Primrose for our tour, the little voice in my head said "this is the one" and we've been happy ever since. I'm most impressed with the curriculum and staff. Also, they are very family oriented, there are several family activities each month. And the "Parent's Night Out" is my favorite! Our daughter is actually learning and blossoming at this school. She has learned tons of sign language and is starting to talk more. We are blessed to have found this school.

We had a terrible experience with the owner here at Forest Creek. We were very satisfied with the former owners and as soon as the newest owner stepped in, we started to see things go downhill. From lots of turnovers with teachers to marks on my kids with no explanations. My daughter had to go to the ER for falling off a table! They asked to pay for the medical bills but we had just had enough. They also told me that my son might have ADHD. When we went to the doctor (several different doctors), they told me that the school was inaccurate. My son is thriving now in another school and way ahead of his peers in terms of reading and vocabulary. Teachers and adults have given us such high praise of how far he has come with a new school and new teachers and environment. He starts Kinder this Fall and he is advanced and already reading at an advanced level. When we lost my mother, his grandmother, who he was very close to. He may have been acting out because of that. The owner was not understanding at all. He basically gave us an ultimatum that if my son didn't behave, then we would be asked to leave. The teacher was just not patient enough with my son to work with what he was capable of. The bad habits my son acquired at Primrose are completely gone now. I'm so happy that I pulled him out when I did. He was obviously miserable there. I can only imagine if I would have kept him at Primrose and how a lag in his development would have been. I would never recommend this school to anyone. Carrie is nice but it's not enough for us to recommend.
