Excellent does not adequately describe the quality of this school. The staff is amazing and they love the kids as their own. Ms. Nichols does a wonderful job at keeping us, the parents informed and involved. My son loves Ms. Thomas to pieces, as well as his teacher Ms. Jodi, who is great with the kids. It took my little one some time to get used to a new school, but the staff was so patient with him and really helped him get comfortable. Not only were they patient with him, but also me, since I would call everyday the first week to check on him. The lunches are healthy, and the school is very clean and inviting. I love this school and my son loves it more. There are so many activities for the kids to be involved in, which help them stay active. My son has learned so much being here and surprises me with things he knows. In my opinion, this is the best school around.

This school is simply amazing, both my children have attended Blue Ivey school since they were 2 years old. It's not simply a day care, they really learn things. My younger daughter always has wonderful things to say about her teachers and the staff at the school. My older child is now in 1st grade and in a magnet school, all thanks to Blue Ivey's Kindergarten program. The 1st grade curriculum in the magnet school's program are subjects that have already been covered in Blue Ivey's Kindergarten program. The school is always clean and classrooms are large and spacious. The school offers several additional educational programs that are wonderful, including dance, computer class, stretch & grow, swimming, and Spanish. This is a great help for busy parents who work full time jobs. They do not have to take their children for extra activities, as Blue Ivey provides everything. I would highly recommend anyone and all my friends to visit Blue Ivey school and let your child have a great experience in learning at Blue Ivey School.

This daycare is very nice and very clean. I like that the rooms have closed doors but big open windows where you can observe into the classroom without disturbing the class. Teachers are friendly and they interact with the kids. Teachers will sit down at the tables and do the activities with the children. I never once heard teachers yelling or raising their voices, which I have found is very common at other daycares. They have curb side valet to pick up the children. The price is a little more than most of the other places but SO worth it! We have been through several daycares that were just down right awful (Bearfoot Lodge). This place is a breath of fresh air after all the others we had been through. All daycares should aspire to be like this one. Blue Ivey picked my son up after school from Sewell and I never had any problems here. My son is going to a magnet school next year and that is the ONLY reason we had to change. I don't like his new daycare and there are none that even come close to Blue Ivey in the area he is in. I wish he could still go to Blue Ivey. The only con is watch and track your payments. They over/incorrectly charged me a couple of times but corrected it promptly.
