Amazing school and amazing teachers. School truly follows Montessori teachings. Allow your kid to blossom at his/her own pace. Reasonably priced.

My 4 year old niece has been going to this school for about two years now and she has been doing great! She loves the staff and she feels safe with them. When she started going here she was very shy with new people and I was worried that she would have a hard time adjusting. The teachers assistant (Ms. Josefina) and the Director/Teacher (Ms, Ynoli) are very nurturing and take their time with the children to make sure they are offering a very inclusive environment. My niece has really blossomed here! She is learning a lot about numbers (she counted to almost 100 the other day), shapes, sounds, nature, space. You name it, they teach it! The classes are not too big so your child will be able to get one on one attention during the day. I highly recommend Montessori Children House to anyone.

It is now completely clear that the current owner has a degree in Advertising... this school is marketed and branded with all the right items to trick one into believing that it is pure Montessori, but it is not. There are plenty of traditional Montessori works there, however they are barely used. The owner and primary room lead shows up at 9am and is gone by 3pm. Additionally she is constantly in the office, and not leading the children in learning. I know this not only because my brutally honest 5 year old tells me, but because I have also received emails and calls between 10am and 2pm. There are serious discipline issues at the school, as nearly all of the staff are not Montessori trained, and have bad habits that have not been corrected by the owner. For example they speak in baby talk to the children asking them to not be "silly-billies", and send them to another room, or the garden by themselves for "time out". Again reported by my child and seen first hand. In one week at a real Montessori, our child has done more than in one month at this daycare posing as a Montessori school.

Wonderful school and excellent staff. My children have really benefited from the environment fostered here.

I went for a tour and they wouldn't even let me inside to just talk without an appt. Saw three kids outside unsupervised. Gave me a bad vibe, what's going on behind the door you won't let someone with a child talk to the front desk? Why were those kids outside by themselves?
