I have three children that attend Christ Academy. They have been in CA since kindergarten and My oldest graduated last yesr from CA. My daughter that graduated is attending Baylor University and feels CA has prepared her for the rigorous course work and responsibilities of taking care of her education at Baylor. She has done very well her first year. My 15 year old daughter is s Sophomore finds the flexibility and content is rigorous and the Staff has given her the tools to manage it as well as her busy active athletic electives. She is also a member of the NHS. My 10 year old is challenged with different opportunities in some of his courses that are available to him because of the personalized education he receives. The teachers have gone above and beyond to give my children the skills, the tools and the education they need to be successful. The students that graduate here have shown success and the scores the CA students receives on the Aspire test are above national average. These students are academically well prepared and they have proven that already.

Newer, secure, and clean facility. Staff is really nice and promises you the world during enrollment. But, as soon as you sign up and they have your money some teachers tend to not follow through with their promises and just stick to their way of doing things. Additionally, the school routinely asks for donations and basic supplies well beyond what you would expect to the point that it feels like hidden fees. They also boast the best curriculum, but it's honestly not impressive for what children are capable of and what is available outside of Wichita Falls. They do not accept every child because their classes fill up, which I understand, but I feel like some teachers' criteria for students they select are simply who looks like less work. Also, it seemed like there were some hidden unprofessional attitudes with some staff which, when combined with inadequate skills, resulted in routinely misdiagnosing children's behavior and not handling situations properly. Also, parents at this school need to to speak up more when they have issues else the staff will continue to think everything is fine. In the end, its not that I'm disappointed with the curriculum - all I'm asking for is staff to have an open mind and a loving heart and be a good example to parents and their children. If you want this for your children too you probably need to look elsewhere.
