My son attended Primrose School of Cinco Ranch from two years old until he finished elementary school. The staff worked hard to care him as well as tend to any special requests that I had. Primrose did such a great job of caring for my son that I recommended primrose for my grand-daughter. My grand-daughter has attended Primrose since she was a year and is now in the after school program. All the staff have cared for her greatly and attended to her needs. The staff has done a great job of communicating with me about things that go on at school as well as things that are needed. They are always available for conferences to discuss what is being taught and how my grand-daughter is progressing. She participated in the pre-kindergarten program, which I believe, prepared her for kindergarten as well as helped her excel in certain areas such as reading. She is now in the after school program. She loves that she can get help with her homework if she needs it as well as gets a chance to hang out with her friends. The front office staff is friendly and helpful. They are also willing to listen to any concerns I might have and will follow up with me on things that I had questions. They are really great about keeping me informed about things that are going on at the school so that I can participate with my grand-daughter. Primrose of Cinco Ranch has always been a place I trust to care for my children and grand-children.

I worked at Primrose School of Cinco Ranch for six years. I began in a classroom and was eventually promoted to a management position. I left this school in April and have since began a position at another Primrose in a classroom and under a different franchisee. I will say that all schools under Michael and Lou Ann McLaughlin are beyond extraordinary. The day to day visits from the owners and upper management are phenomenal. The support from upper management and the front office staff is beyond exemplary. Challenges are dealt with immediately and teachers are always supported. The education that is implemented at Cinco Ranch does not compare to any other school I have visited or worked with. Coming from one school to another and being able to see where each child is academically and emotionally reflects so highly on the staff at the school. The teachers at Cinco Ranch truly do value each and every child's individual needs. Words simply cannot describe the environment at Primrose School of Cinco Ranch. I was blessed to be a part of such an amazing family.

I suggest extreme caution when deciding to place your child with Primrose. We recently placed our 16 month old daughter at this location and found the experience wrought with communication failures, inability to manage expectations by the admin staff, and absolutely no love for the children by the teachers in the toddler room. We pulled our daughter out after only 2.5 days. I hesitate to use the word neglect but the word resonates with me as I write this review. The experience for us was torture. We went about the decision to place our daughter at this location with all the research and forethought that is expected of new parents. We interviewed the facility. We talked to the teachers. I held a special meeting with the teachers and admin personnel prior to my daughter attending the school to discuss my daughter’s dietary needs and her special needs regarding drinking from a cup. I spoke to the cook. I got a lot of “Yes” and “That shouldn’t be a problem” and “We can accommodate that request.” But when the time came for the school to show me and my husband that they could care for our daughter, they failed. I can understand forgetting to tell me she needed diaper cream even though I had stopped by twice on her first day to ask if everything was going well. What I cannot accept is actually watching the teacher leave my daughter screaming on the floor soaking wet from spilling her cup and having food particles on her shirt and telling me she’ll change her later after I, the parent, asked her to take care of my daughter. I have never felt such frustration and helplessness before. I do not understand an organization that would tolerate teachers that don’t care for children enough to maintain their sense of dignity. Maybe for older children this school is acceptable, but for children who cannot defend themselves or speak about their experience, go somewhere else. Do not consider this school for this age group (toddlers).

A wonderful school!!! We are so happy we enrolled our son! The teachers are wonderful and the front desk is very friendly.

Yes. They are rude and arrogant. Too many people work for all kinds of documents in the office . Look busy. I guess that's the reason they are expensive.Classrooms are noisy too.
