My children go to Hope Lutheran. We have been there for 3 years. We have seen tremendous changes (for the better) under the new leadership of Larissa Jenkins. There has been staff turn over, but that happens at any job when leadership changes. Any time I have had a problem or question it has been addressed in a timely manner. Larissa and her team have the best of intentions for every child to make it a safe learning environment! We love Hope and would recommend it to anyone!

Possibly the most unprofessional management I've ever dealt with. Two of the college girls always smell like smoke and are often hung-over (and I understand that there's always going to be employees like that), but when it's brought up to Jenny or Stacy, nothing happens. Nothing ever happens. Stacy is constantly yelling at employees in front of parents and coworkers and I've seen her yell at other parents as well. I wouldn't set foot in there with my child until the management is replaced. I know the only people who review places are either jaded or die-hard enthusiasts, but the other negative review was a year ago and things haven't changed at all. Sincerely, Taking My Kids Somewhere Else.

I had my child in this daycare for over a year. The Director Jenny does not do a whole and does not care, the Assistant Director Stacy bad talks to the parents to their faces. ALL the teachers are college kids. If you are trying to potty train your child they are no help, will not ask your child if they need to go to the bathroom. I have picked up my child when he was just sitting in wet clothes, two days in a row. Confronted Jenny and nothing obviousily was improved. Have picked up my child on other days and his face was dirty. The bathrooms do not look like they get cleaned and I am pretty sure they do not disinfect the room daily. When children get sick they do not even post a sign to let the parents know much less tell you. I have known a lot of people that have pulled their children out of this daycare for numerous reasons. I complained to Jenny and she said, "I am the only parent that complains", not the right thing to say to a concerned parent. I hope this helps.

I agree with the previous rating. My child did well for about a year, but then things turned bad quickly. Some teachers do a great job, but one bad one can ruin the entire experience. As with anything in life, the tone is set by leadership and the directors don't do an adequate job of listening to parents' concerns. My child had dietary restricitions that were followed well until there was a move to a different class. My child was 2 years old, and the teacher's excuse as to why she was still giving my child food that he was unable to eat was "He didn't tell me that." Well Ms. Teacher, his parents did...multiple times. Mrs. Marsh gave us the "You're the only parents complaining" excuse, which as evidenced by the previous comment is obviously not ture.
