My daughter has been attending Dancing Moose for about two years now. I knew immediately that this was the school I wanted to send her to, before I even saw the school in person. Their website was very detailed and made me quite eager to visit in person. When I arrived for my tour, the founder of the school showed me around and let my daughter explore the classrooms. The materials are so beautiful and well in line with the Montessori philosophy. The garden is a children's wonderland ripe with vegetables they pick and cultivate themselves to have cooked on site by their chef for lunches. The teachers are gentle and patient, so friendly and kind to the point that I've befriended a few of them even outside of school! The activities are a blast for the whole family and our daughter is thriving in the Spanish immersion program. We so look forward to sending our son there when he turns 18 months old. I had some anxiety about transitioning from a stay at home mom, 100% in charge of my children's care, to a working mother. But Dancing Moose has eased any anxiety I ever had. They love my children just as much as I do! There is no place I would rather send my babies.

We absolutely love Dancing Moose! We couldn't be happier. My son is in the preschool program and everyone around him is amazed with the knowledge he gains through his curriculum. He is so smart and already has such a huge head start in school. It is remarkable that my four year old can discuss the tectonic plates, jet propulsion, and the barometer with me. These are just a few of the science topics he's encountered in class. He's also reading and adding numbers. My favorite part is that he has a deep understanding of these topics, not just memorization and regurgitation. He'll be able to build on the foundation of these topics as he grows. I love the teachers and the staff and my son loves them too! I also love that they eat healthy food cooked from scratch and get movement and exercise everyday. I am thankful for his school everyday!

Our daughter has been going to dancing moose since she was 2 years old, she is now going into 1st grade and we will be continuing our education there. We have experienced the wonderful care of both the West Valley location and the South Jordan location. The school is organized, clean, and has a wonderful joyful culture and environment. The teachers are very caring and experienced. We now have both of our daughters at dancing moose (daughter #2 started as early as she could, now entering preschool). Going to work and knowing that your children are well cared, educated AND happy, that's the best.

We have been with Dancing Moose since 2009 and have nothing but good things to say.   The president (co-founder) is a professor of education and is deeply involved in the curriculum and shows great interest in every child at the school.    This commitment and attention is pervasive among the school's leadership.   They integrate active lessons throughout the day, including martial arts and yoga.   They have a keen awareness of a child's need to move and don't stymie them; while not allowing this to hinder academic progress.   My daughter has loved the Moose Boost programs they offer throughout the year as well as the Summer Camps.    Soon after starting at 'The Moose' we/they discovered that my daughter, who we knew had speech delays,  also had learning delays.    Since then, we have been so impressed and grateful for their expertise, awareness and immediate response in adapting a learning plan to meet her needs.  They worked with us closely to provide appropriate resources.   The teachers and exemplary, clearly work well with children and routinely provide regular communication.     The school encourages family involvement in a variety of projects and takes part in a variety of charitable events, which not only introduces awareness to the kids, but gives them a chance to participate in making the lives of others better.    They are sensitive to the dynamics of a 2-parent working family and provide resources that accommodate a variety of different circumstances.  We only wish the school's curriculum went past 2nd grade!
