The list is so long and the reveiw someone wrote and a kid getting yelled at I believe it could have been my son cause after the first day he started he wanted to leave my house and go stay with his dad for the rest of the summerso I had my son for about a week for the summer and he went back to his dad's and he didn't want to come back up and I'm wondering if that's why and there's several times I've picked up my daughter almost every single time when I pick her up she have a full poopy butt andshe also was wearing the same diaper that I put on her when she left my house in the a.m. and I picked her up about 5:30 p.m. my kids were talking about crazy things that happened there and I don't know whether to believe him or not but now I'm starting to think that it is true cuz if I have I got from them was not good and I will never take my kids ever again

I have taken my oldest son (now 5) here for a little over 3 years and my youngest son (age 1) now attends as well. The teachers are great! If my kids ever have an issue they give me a call or tell me about it when I pick them up. My oldest son LOVES the summer camp program where they are taken on 2 to 3 field-trips a week. I appreciate all they do and have done for my kids and would recommend them to anyone.

Awful staff and SCARY treatment of kids! I picked my son up midday when they werent expecting it, to see a teacher screaming at a kid telling them they are a bad kid and worthless and they wont get to play with anyone all day. I went to the director immediately they said "oh yes we've had other parents concerned but honestly the kids respond well to this kind of discipline".. wth?! They leave the infants just screaming while the teachers play on their phones. Another time there was a little girl on the floor sobbing in a puddle of urine asking for help to change and the teacher wouldn't even acknowledge her. I was mad and told the teacher she needed to help her and she told me no and that she's old enough to do it herself and shouldn't be having accidents at 4 years old. I again immediately went to director and was told pretty much "how else are they going to learn to do it" . Last straw was I went to pick up my son and he wasnt in his usual class..i was took he was outside.. went outside and the teacher the didn't know where he was. I spoke with 4 separate teachers and noone knew where he was! After 45 minutes of frantically trying to find him (with very little concern or help from the staff) he was in a random class room in the dark by himself. I pulled my son out that day! I can only imagine what else happens there when parents aren't there. Scary place. And dirty.

Never take your kids here. I was threatened by one of the teachers who said she would "personally call dcfs" if I didn't purchase another car seat for my daughter. The car seat she had was thoroughly inspected by McKay Dee hospital before taking my daughter home and was approved safe and passed inspection. These ppl are nuts. The whole situation should have been handled differently, but the director brushed it off like it was nothing.

We love WCELC - We have been going to the school almost five years now, and have enjoyed all of our experiences. We have had three directors and a multitude of staff members and teachers, most persisting throughout the years, and some changing. Through each change, we have learned from each; each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Moms who are new to the daycare experience and have certain 'great expectations' may quit the daycare, look around, and will eventually come back despite the complaints. I looked at other highly rated facilities around my workplace vicinity, up to 20 miles away, and immediately latched onto Wasatch. The cleanliness, safety concerns, attitudes of staff members, and un-deniable concerns for the students in the building and under the staff’s care is extraordinary and top notch. We are blessed to have WCELC in our lives and I have no gripes - My children are getting an individualized and A+ education with teachers that care and are clearly improving their students' lives. We will stick around as long as we can!
