I love Dayspring, I saw termendous growth in my child being a full time working mom I'm not able to be as envovled In her education as I would like to be and they made not only myself but my daughter extremely happy! The staff was very in tune to her needs I would recommend this school to anyone wanting their child with a hands on education! Also the director sent me pictures of her hard work through out the year (Montessori doesn't do homework.. Lucky!) so I was able to see what she was doing while in school, I loved it!

I would not recommend this school to anyone! The teachers and staff here are not professional and often talk down to the students, parents of enrolled students and others in the community. The children are forced to pray twice a day at this school, participate in religious performances, etc. When we enrolled our daughter in August 2012 we were not told this was a religious based program. After finding out what was being done at the school and making a surprise visit to see it for myself, my husband and I asked them to not include our daughter in these practices. Our religious views were different than those being taught. Her teacher spoke down to us and after we did not back down, tried to reprimand us and worse after we left belittled my daughter in front of her friends for her parents “coming in and making a big deal out of nothing”. I was horrified to think that my 4 year old had to go through such an ordeal! When I asked to speak to the director about this I was referred to her assistant director (and brother) Mr. Wand, were he put our concerns to rest by telling us to “grow up.” My husband and I pulled our daughter immediately and told him we would be enrolling her in another Montessori school. He immediately began to belittle the other programs in this area, blatantly telling us misinformation about them, in order to further bully us or intimidate us!! I was honestly shocked and a little embarrassed for him at his behavior! (Thankfully after contacting the AMS director from our previous school in California, we were referred to a different Montessori school in Santa Clara, in which we are VERY happy.)

Having been in the Montessori Community for the past 23 years, I can say honestly that Dayspring Montessori embraces and adheres to all aspects of the philosophy. All of Dayspring's teachers are fully trained and certified through a nationally accredited program and the school itself is accredited through the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education, which sets the national standard for excellency in Montessori schools. Dayspring produces students, of all ages and levels, that are capable and independent young children. In the caring and nurturing environments of Dayspring, the children render a sense of respect for their surroundings, as well as, a love and passion for learning itself. Tours are available for you to learn more about how Dayspring can benefit you and your family.
