False ADVERTISMENT!!! As a parent, I feel like other parents should know that the school claims to teach children yoga, Spanish, etc... but that is not always the case, it just depends upon what teacher you have and if that teacher wants to and/or has the knowledge to teach it..... So I feel like the price isn't worth it and they're not living up the "Goddard' name. Also I worked there, and for almost a good year I watched one little girl disrupt and disrespect her peers by yelling, screaming, and hitting her classmates during learning time and I felt so bad other kid's parents paid for their kids to learn there and the others wanted to learn, but this 1 child almost made it impossible for them to, or for the Kindergarten teacher to teach... I felt so bad for the teacher and kids that had to deal with this little girl and there was no help from management at the front... it's like they would let anything happen so they could collect the money! This was a good 5 years ago, but I feel like people should know and be hand's on and involved with their kids, even when they're on school.... so you don't get fooled & know what's going on in a caregiver/learning setting.

My son is in the infant class. He's has been attending the Goddard School for over two months and has really adjusted well! His teachers have done everything they can to make sure that he is well taken care of and feels loved. Thanks to their special care, he has adjusted quite well and it shows in how happy he is to see his teachers and friends every morning at drop off. I feel as if they truly care for my baby and we feel a sense of family with the staff and fellow parents. We are so happy we chose the Goddard School and we are optimistic about our future there as our baby graduates the infant class and moves up the curriculum.

The Goddard school here is awesome and worth every penny I paid. I have given only 4 stars mainly because I have not made my kid complete her one full year there. I am not a person who usually bothers to give reviews in a public forum. But just because these people were so good and efficient, I think, I should do my part in return. Tuning the kids to how they should behave, how they need to treat others, how to learn: going a step beyond what to learn....many more to say. The wholesome comfort was when we met the class teacher on 6 months review of kids. So many events and so many plays and so many activities that they engage the kids.... Its truly a good place to enrich our kids. Appreciate your Work team!!!

We have two children, a 4 year old son and a 1 year old daughter and they both attend The Goddard School at Short Pump. We've had nothing but great experiences since enrolling our first child there when he was 3 months old. The teachers are energetic, loving and fun. They offer so much enrichment beginning in the nursery room. One day a week each class is treated to creative movement exercises and musical entertainment which is included in the monthly tuition. Also, if you choose you can pay for individual music lessons, a Soccer shots program and the Gym Bus. When we were expecting our second child we moved our son to another daycare center that was more convenient for us knowing that our schedules were going to become even busier . We eventually found out a few months later that the cirriculm at his new school was less advanced and he was being mistreated almost daily by another student in his class and the school "was working with the child" but their efforts were not working. After the third incident of mistreatment we quickly moved our son and our new baby girl back to The Goddard School at Short Pump. We should have never moved him in the first place. We would recommend this school to anyone that we came in contact with who had a need for a trusted, caring daycare environment.

The management has committed to fostering the development of the hardest working teachers in the area. Sometimes, that does cause higher turnover, as only the strongest teachers will survive. For nine years, we have felt that Goddard School Short Pump is the only place that develops our children BETTER than we do (as parents)!
