i went here k-10, when the school was newer. its a great place to screw your kids up if so inclined. 2 classmates were involved after graduation in the duke rape scandal, several have died as a result of drugs and alcohol directly, disease associated with drugs or alcohol, several are currently or formerly incarcerated, and recently they had a football coach given 5 life sentences for serial rape and multiple murders some of which he committed while working on campus in close proximity to young women and girls . i cant speak for the present but for years , drugs, underage drinking , unsafe sex, fights, preferential treatment based on parents influence or wealth, and a general maliciousness were the foundation of this "christian" education. it screwed me up pretty bad, screwed my friends up pretty bad. you should definitely send your kids here to raise a good "christian" felon

I went to Covenant for 7 years from Pre K- 5th grade. When I was younger I enjoyed the school so much, and often looked forward to finishing in the Upper School. In 4th grade though, Covenant really changed. Many members of staff left, the logo changed, etc. This drastically changed the culture of the the school. They really lost their Christian aspect of things and went down hill I think academically. I also started to realize that people where being judged on status. They then I think worried about looking good and expanding, rather than caring about their students. I also started to feel like I was just a student rather than a learner. I feel that the school is becoming more and more disconnected each school year and will eventually turn into a school purely focused on growth. I now go to a different school. That being said, Covenant has a gorgeous campus a great school spirit and fantastic Music, PE and other special programs. Covenant has some things to fix but has instilled skills in me that will contribute in some aspects.
