The Goddard School

My family and I are ecstatic to be a part of the Goddard family. From the very first day we have been met with love, respect and great attention to detail. We are new parents and have had our share of disappointments where childcare is concerned. Just when we thought we had experienced it all, we were blessed with an opportunity to enroll our son at their Lake Ridge location. The staff here are beyond amazing. They truly provide our son with the best care. He absolutely adores the directors, Ms. Tiffany and Ms. Crystal as well as his teachers Ms. Hafida and Ms. Patricia. They treat him as if he is one of their own and there is never a moment where we worry about his day to day when he is not in our care. He lights up when he sees any one of them. The Owner, Mrs. Nazlin is amazing. She is present in the facility, greets you with a warm and welcoming smile and has always made herself available to my wife and I. This Goddard team has been carefully selected and handpicked to ensure our son as well as others are afforded the most appropriate care and attention day in and out. This is extremely important to us as we have had several unpleasant and disappointing experiences with other daycare providers. It has been nothing short of a blessing that the stars aligned and an opportunity was provided for us to embark on a new journey with the Goddard school. Our son is thriving here. At just 9 months he is walking on his own, excited about feeding himself (he has the proudest smile as we applaud this accomplishment) and has a zest and determination for figuring out this thing we call life. He has gone from rarely ever napping on any given day to napping daily often times for 1 to 2 hours multiple times each day (when teething isn’t having its way). His eating habits have changed drastically as he went from consuming everything I sent daily to only consuming what he truly requires. He has always been a happy baby, but to watch his transition to Goddard with such ease and grace has been everything any new mom could ever ask for. To leave him each and every morning knowing without a doubt he is being cared for by the best and learning something new every single day is the most rewarding feeling. We wholeheartedly recommend The Goddard School of Lake Ridge to anyone looking for an expert filled, educated, family oriented and fun loving staff. You will not at all be disappointed.

Absolutely terrible school. Where to begin? My daughter is 2.5 when we enrolled her in this school based on neighbors recommendation and checking out the open house. First day of school, I felt general unease and was luke warm by what I saw. When I picked up my daughter I could tell she had cried so much her eyes had puffed up to the point she looked she had an allergic reaction and lost her voice. My daughter who hardly eats came home wanting to eat everything in sight, a sign they did not ensure she ate and was starved coming home, this happened on day and day 3 as well so not a one off. They talk about their great curriculum and teachers which is completely untrue, I went to pick up my daughter on all 3 days and she was either sitting in a corner crying with no teacher or assistant teacher looking into why or playing outside, is that what you call structured curriculum? The thing that did it for me is after a few days of being in the school, when changing my daughters diaper I noticed vaginal discharge, mind you she is 2.5 years old and we have never seen this happen. Of course I can't tell you with certainty it was a result of the school but on 2 of 3 days she was wearing another kids diapers, not her own which I provided an ample supply of to the schools. Needless to say all of this and a deep down mothers instinct that this school wasn't right forced me to take her out. We are now going in circles trying to get them to send us the check for the days she didn't attend and they are demonstrating their lack of professionalism by not responding to emails or anything. I highly encourage you to please look into other schools, this is the worst I have seen.

I love this school! My kids are happy to go in the morning and have learned a lot since we have switched schools, i love the email updates about what they are learning and the pictures you sometimes get in the reports it helps me with asking them about their day! The staff are always friendly and willing to help me with getting my kids in and out! This school will not disapoint!

I have 2 children at the Goddard School in Lake Ridge. We we started 3 years ago it was hard to find a preschool to meet all of our needs. Having just moved into the area we wanted a place where they can grow. The Goddard School's curriculum ensures the children are learning while not losing sight of their need to play. The directors and the owner knows all of the children, particularly the voices of my own. The teachers are awesome and takes the time to learn the personalities of my children and for that I am thankful. If you are looking for a great place for your child(ren) to learn, grow, have fun and be loved; the Goddard School in Lake Ridge is my first choice and I highly recommend them!
