Great School, great teachers, amazing school community. For us it was a beautiful experience. If you can afford it, gives your child the chance to learn in this school.

I have two sons that both went to WMS from ages 3 to 14 and one is in college, the other a high school senior. I see in them everything I hoped for and everything Montessori says it instills in students - independence, confidence, respect for all people, curiosity, problem-solving ability, compassion, and a huge thirst for knowledge and academics - all thanks to Montessori education and the dedicated teachers. I am so thankful they went to this school because now they can do anything!

I have 2 sons; One who has been at WMS for 6 years now while our youngest is in public school. Both are receiving great educations, but I do regret not sending our younger son to WMS as well. With 5 years of parenting experience to compare the 2 environments, WMS hands down has shown me that they get it. I can't imagine another school (public or private) in Williamsburg with as much going on when it comes to educating kids the right way. Thanks for making my son's (and family's) experience worth it!

Our two kids couldn’t be more different—different genders, personalities, interests, learning styles—but both of them have thrived at WMS because of the school’s commitment to a flexible and rigorous education. We chose WMS for our children because the extraordinary teachers from pre–K to middle school meet students where they are in their educational journeys, then show them how to go beyond what they thought they could achieve. Not only have my kids learned more at WMS than their age–level peers, they’ve discovered a desire to learn more—to try harder, push deeper, and go farther.

My daughter is in her fourth year here and we could not be more pleased. Great teachers and a nice community of families.
