This is a really great school. It is very helpful to all students with disabilities. I went here in high school. I better served me. It is a very organized and inclusive environment.

I am a student with Autism that has been attending at this school for 4 years now. The small class sizes and experienced teachers have helped me gain the self confidence and social awareness required to reach my goals. Another great this school provides is a safe environment in which bullies are not really an issue. The social connections with my peers, and lifelong skills I have developed will stay with me forever. Thank you, New Horizon! Addendum: it's been around 3 years since I graduated from new horizon school, and I've found that the attitude and skills I learned here have made me a competitive choice for employment. The fellow alumni I'm still in contact with usually find themselves with successful prospects in employment or higher education. With the autism spectrum, there are of course those students who will require lifelong care, but from NHS they have gained the confidence to self advocate and an understanding of government programs in place to help them.

Ive been through many schools. But ive yet to experience as skilled and dedicated educators as the staff of new horizon. Its more of a strict enviorment then im used to but, the structure is integral for preparing asd and add children for future employment

Learning is a daily community activity at NHS, where students and staff work together developing life skills, adaptive skills, and academic skills. The school culture promotes and nurtures values of trust, integrity, respect, and personal responsibility as important inter-personal skills. Students explore and develop personal interests through a wide variety of electives classes and extra-curricular activities. New Horizon School is a very special school.
