We loved this school! The small size and individual attention were great for my two kids. They looked forward to the regular activities each year and developed a great sense of confidence and compassion.

My granddaughter is a student here and, although I live too far away to be active in the school, I have loved my 2 visits to see her in her school environment. The students and teachers are charming, happy, I might say joyous-yes, joyous! And my granddaughter has blossomed into a thoughtful, caring, knowledgeable, clear thinking young lady

Simply amazing

We are from NY and were living in the Midwest. We were relocating to Seattle and looking for a private school. It was November 08 and SS was the only school still open. I should have listened carefully when the Admissions Rep told me that there had been issues at the beginning of the year. One fourth grade teacher would not even consider meeting our daughter, despite the class size of 11-13ish. It would be a mistake for anyone to spend hard-earned money there. As a former NYC teacher, I was appalled that there was no curriculum, our daughter's teacher talked in circles and the Head of the School did not come to introduce herself on the first day of our arrival. Behavior is dreadful and the Administration will disclose virtually nothing, although the safety of the students was in play. Virtually no science taught. At the end of the year, school papers came home in paper bag. Head of School would not explain report card grading and teacher would not spend fifteen minutes at the end of year discussing our daughter's progress. Everyday was an issue, many of the children seem to have some sort of behavior issue and we were frustrated. Our daughter has attended Montessori and wonderful Midwest school and never had an experience like this. We work very hard to provide a good education for our daughter. School verbally promised Financial Aid and then denied ever stating it . We moved to Bellevue and love it! Do not make the same mistake!
