We love hearing from past students! Thanks, Leo for the positive review. There have been a lot of wonderful changes since you were a student here three years ago. You'll find many new faces in staff, teachers and students, including our current Horned Owl teacher. She's been here three years....I bet you would have loved her as much as her students, families and we do!

We have been so extremely happy with West Seattle Montessori over the past 4 years. All 3 of our children are enrolled here (and will continue to be for years to come) and we have been so pleased with their growth. We have 2 in pre-primary (entering kindergarten) and 1 entering 2nd grade. I’m always amazed to see the work they bring home every day, and it’s a joy to see them smiling before and after school. Their confidence (emotional, educational, physical, social) continues to grow day after day which is, in part, a product of the system in place at WSMS. The teachers are smart, involved, loving and truly care for every child at the school – not just those in their classrooms. The 10-1 student to teacher ratio also leads to the teachers being able to appropriately and consistently address each child’s unique needs. Another huge win is the parental involvement which is beyond remarkable. Dozens of parents (moms and dads) attend the monthly Parent meetings, auctions are always exceeding $$$ goals, parents are constantly at the school helping kids read and learn. It’s comforting knowing our kids are so well taken care of, and that their futures are brighter because of the experiences they’re having at such a young and impressionable age.

We live in Seattle people profiling is something we should not be doing !!! The thought of the school as a unsafe place is shocking!! The location for my family has been nothing but great. Larger classrooms, bigger playground, a green house, and the whole school under one roof. As a parent of 2 students here I would hand over fist let all my friends know about this GREAT school. !!!

The location is not safe, and sometimes even quite dangerous. We saw very often some suspicious people when we picked up our daughter and we then decided to transfer to another school.
