Great school and staff!

Both my kids have loved this school. After 2 years of preschool we have decided to keep our kindergartener here at the montessori. The staff is great and the learning is better. Both of my kids when all said and done will have gone there for 3 plus each each. Very satisfied. My son loves to learn!

Class of 2004 represent

I went to this school from age 2-9. I had an amazing time there and made many friends. I am not sure if anything has changed but i can tell you when I was still enrolling at this school, I enjoyed every minute of it. I remember the monkey bars (my favorite part) and taking home art work every day. I remember telling my parents everything i had learned and done that day. I also remember when we had P.E., we would go to the park down the road. On our way and back, we would all have a partner to walk with so no one got lost. The teachers (when i was there), were very good, and nice.I also remember planting sunflowers next to the entrance which i have heard from the other review is now rotten. There was always something new. I was the quiet child in the class, and always listened. I would suggest this school to anyone.

I enrolled my little girl into the 1-2 year old class in 2009 at the "Tot House". I was worried about the place at first because the building is run down and the toys outside are obviously quite old and fadded. However, all summer she couldn't wait to go to school each day to see Ms. Traci. Unfortunately, Ms. Traci left and the program became less and less like a school and more and more like a daycare. A new teacher came in to help out and that's when she started telling me she didn't want to go to school anymore. So, I agree with those who left unfavorable comments in the beginning of 2010. I figured out the reason (this teacher and boredom) and brought up my concerns with the director of the school. Ms. Kari was very willing to work with me and my daughter's needs. She is now in a new, more updated class and she is very happy again. Every teacher that I come into contact with at least knows my daughter's name. Ms. Kathy, Ms. Geni, and Ms. Amanda are all attentive, patient teachers. Even Michelle, the office manager knows my name and my daughter's whenever I call. My advice, try this school out if your child is over 2 and can attend the older children's class. If your child is 1-2 and would be put in the tot house where the teachers aren't supervised as much by Kari, go somewhere else for now. Check it out later though... things may change over there.
