When I was enrolling my daughter in school, I toured multiple schools. I chose Blessed Sacrament because of the teachers and staff. My daughter is now in 4th grade and my son in kindergarten, and I wouldn't change my decision for anything. The teachers are wonderful and fun. Areas my daughter struggled with, she now loves. I have recommended this school to anyone that asks, and will continue to do so. The principal has always been very supportive and welcoming. When my daughter was in K5/1st she had issues with a little girl. Knowing that children work things out on their own, I still informed the teacher and principal of what was going on. The issue was addressed immediately, and they came up with a plan to make my daughter comfortable and confident. My daughter just served her very 1st Mass this week, and it was a last minute decision. The principal called me to let me know she would serving Mass because she knew I would want to be there! Anytime I have voiced concerns to the principal, or any staff at school, they have been addressed immediately! My experience with this school gets better and better as time goes on. I think if anything needs to improve, it's parent involvement!

As the current Director of Christian Formation for Blessed Sacrament Church, I have had the privilege of working with Principal,Carol Degen and 2nd grade teacher Litza Janowski and I have found both individuals to be very professional and helpful to me as I started in my position in September of 2017. They are too very dedicated educators and I'm glad to work with them. I am employed by the Church, not the school but I still have had plenty of interaction with the Blessed Sacrament School Staff. The school generously provides their classrooms for our Sunday Catechism classes which helps accommodate our kids and catechists. I do not have any school age children yet, but I do have a 2 year old daughter and I would be proud to send her to Blessed Sacrament School. The spirit is throwing in and through this school!

My boys have been going to this school since K4. My oldest who is 11yrs old now started getting bullied in the 3rd grade. I brought it up to the school right away and their reaction was pretty laid back. I insisted on speaking/meeting with the other kid's parents and the issue was resolved. Once again my son started getting bullied in the 5th grade by a kid who was new to the school that year. He was verbally and physically abused by a classmate who not only bullied my son but others in the class. I kept track of e-mails of when I reached out to teachers and principals. The incidents got out of control many times, after speaking with the Priest, teachers, principal, dean of students and even the Superintendent of the Archidiocese, the bully only got suspended from school 3 days. I could go on and on about this issue but I will seriously never end. The Principal Carol Degan has to go, she doesn't manage the school very well, she is not involved as she should with how the school stands academically. The way she handles things at the school is very unprofessional. The schools scores and academic levels speak for themselves. Don't get me wrong the school has a lot of really good teachers and staff but when someone like this principal is running this school it will never progress. Since we had been in this school they always have new teachers every year, not one teacher but many. Now both of my sons go to a different school and we couldn't be happier. The new school has way better academics, programs and sports that will help them grow. Glad I don't have to deal with Blessed Sacrament's principal anymore!

I completely AGREE Principal Carlo Degen has to GO! Degen fail to do her duties she is a horrible communicator no idea what effective communication is! she rather say " is the first time I have ever heard of this" she has to be a difference maker establishing accountability to her staff and students but instead she has delegated the second grade teacher and the Latino lunch lady to run the school allowing bulling left and right they will lie to your face and blame your kids for being bully, Degen should MANAGE by walking around cause the human factor is extremely important, addressing problems head on not simply Lie and make excuses and tell you what she things you want to hear will encourage the employee kids to continue to bulling the because her Mother is the lunch lady and teaches dance to kids, leadership obviously she has 0 but will force you to talk to the second grade teacher who will lie instead fixing the issue, Professionalism "0" SQUACH, NADA, you get the idea, there are good teachers but leading by example is not in her brain at all, she is not interested in her career she has lost passion if she ever had it for her profession lets simply say she just shows up cause she has to that's all she does.. and when you try to talk to the priest to get help cause your kids are being abuse verbally and physically your kids will be the ones to blame and will say " Is the first time I have ever heard of this" " I was there this morning and didn't see any of that" that's what he say to me also he had the nerve to tell me that my kids where bully cause I was a single parent!! can you believed that!!! Robert D. Turner a man of God? he was just place in that position cause Father James N. Jablonowski was removed suddenly because of sexual assault well cover by this priests, he lacks The fruits of the holy spirit and lies to your face because this behavior is ok specially when his superintendent happens to be his friend and do expend lots time together, SO lets get it right Robert D. Turner is was lucky to have this job but he is NO man of God just a man who got place in the wrong position and the Archidioceses will not remove him cause is all favors they do for each other GARBAGE!! principal Degen and your follower are going to hell including the priest Turner but I guess you already knew that!! DO NOT send your kids to this school because if there are bully Nothing will change and your kids will be blame instead of the bully's.
